Amber Rose Birthday: Blac Chyna Baby Bump Steals The Show At Flirt Event
Amber Rose’s birthday celebrations kicked off Thursday evening at Flirt Cosmetics’ launch party at Break Room 86 in Los Angeles, People reports. Rose was celebrating her 33rd birthday, but it was her close friend Blac Chyna who stole the show with her “giant” baby bump, as Hollywood Life referred to it.
Chyna, the star of the E! hit reality TV show Rob & Chyna, is expected to give birth to her daughter in the coming weeks, according to People. She attended Amber Rose’s birthday event in a baby pink tracksuit “paired with a diamond bracelet.”
Chyna costars with Rob Kardashian on Rob & Chyna. Kardashian, a businessman and TV personality, first gained fame for his appearances in the super popular reality TV series Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Chyna and Kardashian got engaged to each other in April after dating for three months, E! News reports.
Amber Rose is, of course, a reality TV star herself, along with being famous for modeling and appearing in numerous music videos. She’s the star of VH1’s The Amber Rose Show, has been a contestant on Dancing with the Stars, and has appeared in music videos for Fabolous, Ludacris, Nicki Minaj, Wiz Khalifa, and Young Jeezy. She also had a high-profile relationship with rapper Kanye West.
Rose, Donald Robertson, and Priscilla Ono hosted the Flirt event, which showcased products from the company’s cosmetics line, People reports.
Estee Lauder launched Flirt Cosmetics, a standalone company, with Amber Rose and “Instagram-famous illustrator” Robertson in September, Stylecaster reports. The company specializes in false eyelashes and focuses its marketing on Instagram, where Rose has over 12 million followers.
Estee Lauder has found success with previous launches of standalone brands like M.A.C and Aerin.
“Oh my god, I’m so excited for my birthday! I feel like I really killed it this past year, so hopefully I can do even better this next one!” Rose told People in an exclusive interview.

While it was Amber Rose’s birthday, several headlines focused on Blac Chyna’s baby bump. Hollywood gossip writer Perez Hilton’s website ran with the headline, “Amber Rose Rubs Blac Chyna’s Baby Bump At The Flirt Cosmetics Event.” Hollywood Life opted for “Blac Chyna Reveals Giant Baby Bump Days Before Giving Birth To Daughter—Pics.” A second People article sported the headline, “Black Chyna Steps Out in a Pink (Satin!) Tracksuit While Supporting Pal Amber Rose.”
“The social media and reality star, 28, skipped her signature bump-hugging dresses instead opting for a pink, fitted satin tracksuit — perhaps a nod to her baby girl on the way?” People reported, referring to Chyna.
Rose, who is a mother herself, celebrated at the event with what People referred to as an “adorable” two-tier cake decorated in Flirt style. Despite the festivities, she dressed comfortably and casually, wearing heels, jeans, and a maroon sweater with the words “MAY THE BRIDGES I BURN LIGHT THE WAY” printed across the front.
People noted that Amber Rose took time out from celebrating to pose for some selfies showing off her Flirt fake lashes and “star-themed” makeup. She posted several of the selfies to Instagram, captioning one of them with “Birthday Girl Makeup by @priscillaono @esteelauder @flirtcosmetics Launch #flashyourflirt.”
Blac Chyna launched her own cosmetics line in 2014, Bustle reports. Her Lashed line also features false eyelashes, as well as liquid lipsticks.
“Both Chyna and Rose were all smiles as they posed for photographers” at the birthday event, People reported.
With the due date right around the corner, the Amber Rose birthday event may have been one of the last glimpses fans will get of Blac Chyna’s baby bump.
