‘The 100’ Season 3 Finally Coming To Netflix, But When?

The 100 fans couldn’t help but notice that while all the other CW shows had recent seasons on Netflix by the end of this month, their favorite show was missing. There were major questions over when The 100 Season 3 would come to Netflix, and worries that it was a bad sign for the show.

At one point, there were suggestions that the dystopian future show wouldn’t make it to the streaming service until January 2017. That’s when The 100 Season 4 is set to air, although the exact date is still to be confirmed, as the Inquisitr had already reported. Fans didn’t want to have to wait that long when Canada already has access to the full third season through Netflix.

For those who want to know more about the show and are interested in it, the first two seasons are already available. The show, based on the books of the same name, take place 97 years in the future. Earth has been damaged by a nuclear war, and there is a small group of people living in space. It turns out that they need to potentially sacrifice a group of 100 juvenile delinquents to see if Earth is habitable again.

While the group of under 18s are on Earth, they find out that not everyone was killed. There are groups of people called Grounders and Mountain Men that they need to deal with, as these “Sky People” have trespassed on land that doesn’t belong to them.

The 100 Season 3 saw the Grounder clans starting to work with the Sky People, but things soon turned sour when the leader of the Grounders was killed. It also didn’t help that the Sky People started not to trust the Grounders and committed mass murder to stake a claim on some land.

Season 3 also saw some of the most controversial viewing on TV for the year. Fans were outraged at the way lesbian lovers Clarke and Lexa were created. As LGBT fans rallied together, the only good thing that came out of this was the money that was raised for LGBT charities. Some writers and producers have also signed the Lexa Pledge to promise to stop falling into the Gay Trope.

While some fans believed that the show should have ended with the third season, the CW announced that it would pick the show up for another year. This year sees Clarke and her people work with the Grounders again to find out where all the nuclear reactors are. They are crumbling, and the Earth is about to be destroyed completely. At least, that’s what the creepy A.I. told Clarke.

Could this be the final season of the show? It would make sense to end with a storyline that the humans couldn’t stop, making it impossible to carry on in any way. Of course, this is a TV show, and fans would be angry if there wasn’t a happy ending for someone. It couldn’t just end with the whole world being destroyed, so the groups of humans will need to find a way to save it.

So far, the date for Season 4 hasn’t been confirmed. It will be sometime in January 2017, and likely around January 21, which is when Season 3 premiered on the CW network. For now, we could just get excited that The 100 Season 3 is finally coming to Netflix. We just have to hold on until November 16.
