Pippa Middleton Protects Boyfriend James Matthews From News After Getting Engaged, Kate Middleton Approves Ring And Dress?

Pippa Middleton has been in the spotlight ever since her sister Kate Middleton married Prince William. But her boyfriend James Matthews is new in the game, and he has been experiencing what it’s like to live in the limelight after getting engaged to the younger Middleton. From the most recent interview Pippa gave in the news, it sounds like she is doing her best to protect her boyfriend from the nasty rumor mill.

While James Matthews is not in the entertainment industry, the fact that he is now engaged to one of the most famous socialite in British high society means that he will have to start playing the game.

“I have had a few years of being in the public eye and I have developed something of a thick skin,’ she confessed to Daily Mail. “But managing it all on my own has been quite hard. I have quite a lot thrown at me, such as being followed by people hiding behind cars and jumping out with cameras. It can be unnerving… It’s been a real eye-opener for James. There have been quite a few hurdles to negotiate.”

The 33-year-old socialite is ready to make things work after her engagement as ring, dress and the details of her impending wedding become more public.

“I guess it’s become the new normal for us,” she continued about James Matthews. “It means there are factors we have to weigh up and think about, but we try not to let it affect us. I try not to be too sensitive about things because it’s just a bit of life I have to deal with.”

For sure, her life will change when her engagement ring turns into wedding ring on her fourth finger. James Matthews is a Scottish noble, which means that Pippa will get a title of her own. Then, she probably will not have the time to compete in as many athletic and endurance races all over the world as a married woman.

She has fought her entire time in the spotlight of her sister Kate Middleton to show the world that she does not take things for granted.

“People see me as someone privileged who has used my position to advantage; that I don’t really work, that I am a socialite – that word really irritates me – and that I’m a party girl without any substance,” she commented.

To make sure that other people, including her boyfriend, does not see her as a spoiled girl, she has been working as hard as she can on things that matter to her. For example, she completed the Great Wall of China marathon, showing that she can endure pain to accomplish something great.

“Pippa Middleton is never one to shy away from a fitness challenge, and on Saturday she took on one of her most testing experiences to date – running the Great Wall Marathon in China,” reports Hello! Magazine. “This gruelling 26.2 mile course took place in 29?C heat and includes some 5,164 steps, but as ever the Duchess of Cambridge’s younger sister rose to the challenge and didn’t disappoint. The 32-year-old completed the course in an impressive 4 hours and 54 minutes, making her the 13th woman to cross the finish line and placing her 69th out of 2,444 runners.”

But that doesn’t mean that Kate Middleton’s sister has been successful in everything she has set her mind to do. The latest news on her business is that it is in the red.

“It’s lucky Pippa Middleton is marrying a millionaire as her business isn’t looking as healthy as she is,” reports Daily Mail.

“Her company accounts reveal that she made a mere £50,000 last year, a fall of £65,000 after posting a profit of £115,000 the year before. Pippa is sole shareholder of PXM Enterprises, which manages her ‘publishing activities’ – which might include money from her party planning book Celebrate (the one she was reduced to flogging on her parents’ Party Pieces website at a knock-down price).”

Good thing that James Matthews is a financier and that he will be able to rescue her failing business.
