When Will Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner’s Divorce Be Finalized?

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are technically still married, but with rumors swirling regarding the actor’s potential romance with his ex-girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, fans are wondering if they will soon make their divorce final.

On September 14, OK! Magazine shared a report regarding the allegedly rekindled relationship between Ben Affleck and his former fiancee, Lopez, claiming the couple may be getting a second chance at love.

“[Ben Affleck]’s finally given up on rekindling his romance with Jennifer Garner and with J.LO breaking things off with on-and-off beau Casper Smart, they’re finally free to start things up again,” the magazine revealed to readers.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner got married in 2005 and 10 years later, around the time of their 10-year wedding anniversary, Affleck and Garner confirmed they would be parting ways. During their marriage, Ben Affleck and his wife welcomed three children together, Seraphina, Violet, and Samuel.

According to OK! Magazine‘s report, In Touch Weekly magazine was first to report news of Ben Affleck’s alleged communication with Lopez, claiming that it was the singer who reached out to her ex-fiance after splitting from her longtime boyfriend Casper Smart weeks ago.

“After splitting from Casper she reached out to [Ben Affleck],” an insider explained to the magazine. “She thinks he could be the one and is convinced they’ll make the perfect couple.”

The source continued, telling readers that Ben Affleck was in agreement with Lopez’s sentiments. The source also added that Ben Affleck’s former life with Lopez was “never boring,” which was one of the things he loved about his ex.

Ben Affleck and his wife, Garner, may have announced their separation in June of 2015, but still, they have yet to officially end their marriage, and as the weeks go by, they are seen together more and more. They even enjoyed a long vacation in Europe earlier this summer, at which point reunion rumors began to swirl.

As Ben Affleck spent several weeks in Europe filming Justice League, he was joined by his former partner and their children, but when it comes to a reunion in the future, a friend of Garner’s spoke out in response to their family vacation, claiming Garner wasn’t planning to get back together with Affleck.

“She seems adamant about going through with it,” a friend of the actress revealed to People Magazine earlier this summer.

At the time of the report, Garner had arrived back in Los Angeles and was preparing to get her kids ready for the impending school year. Meanwhile, Ben Affleck had returned to London to complete his filming duties with Justice League.

Garner “denies that she is back with [Ben Affleck],” the friend added. “She actually almost laughs when asked.”

As for when the divorce will be finalized, Garner’s friend said she was in no rush to officially end her marriage to Ben Affleck and added that she “doesn’t seem to mind at all that it’s not finalized.”

Since the report was shared, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have been seen spending time together in Los Angeles. In addition to celebrating the 4th of July by attending a parade in the area, Ben Affleck was also seen getting his kids ready for their first day of school with his wife. Still, when it comes to a reunion, there doesn’t appear to be much of a chance for the actors.
