Sofia Richie Gets New Tattoos, Was Justin Bieber Her Inspiration? She May Have Followed In Hailey Baldwin’s Footsteps

Sofia Richie just got two new tattoos from Justin Bieber’s tattoo artist, Jonboy, much like Hailey Baldwin did not too long ago.
On SnapChat on September 8, Sofia Richie, who went public with her relationship with the “Cold Water” singer just weeks ago, documented the process of getting the tattoos, one of which appeared to be inspired by Bieber, on her SnapChat account.
“She wasted no time getting inked after turning 18 last month. But although the model revealed that she’s wanted to get a tattoo for years, her chosen inking bears a striking resemblance to the artwork on her new flame Justin Bieber,” the Daily Mail revealed to readers. “On Thursday, [Sofia Richie] debuted her two new inkings on SnapChat, including a small cross on her middle figure in similar style to her beau’s under eye art.”

On SnapChat, Sofia Richie posted a photo of her cross, which was located on the inside of her middle finger. Meanwhile, Bieber, 22, sports an identical cross, although it is smaller, on the side of his left eye. As the outlet revealed, Bieber debuted the piece earlier this year, around the time he was linked to 19-year-old model Hailey Baldwin.
As fans may recall, Baldwin traveled to New York City in June, just weeks after she and Bieber were spotted together enjoying a night out at the Up & Down Nightclub followed by a trip to her apartment, and while in town, she paid a visit to Jonboy and later debuted a “Pray” tattoo.
Baldwin and Bieber began dating at the end of last year and continued with their romance until late spring, when Bieber appeared to strike up a romance with Nicole Peltz. Then, after Bieber started dating Sofia Richie, he unfollowed Baldwin on Instagram, along with his other ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez.
In addition to her cross tattoo, Sofia Richie also received a second tattoo of what is believed to be one of her favorite Bible verses. Although Sofia Richie hasn’t said much about the “13:4” tattoo, the Daily Mail revealed the numbers represented 1 Corinthians 13:4, which reads, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.”
Sofia Richie’s tattoo reveal came just a short time after she spoke to the media for the first time about her relationship with the singer.
“We have a special relationship,” Sofia Richie revealed to Billboard magazine for their style issue earlier this week. “Justin is very easy to talk to, and that’s hard to find with people in Los Angeles.”

While Sofia Richie’s family has remained silent in regard to her new romance, a source recently spoke out, claiming that Richie’s famous father, musician Lionel Richie, is totally on board with the 18-year-old dating Bieber and actually “adores” him.
“Lionel Richie adores Justin Bieber! He was skeptical at first because of all the bad press Justin has gotten over the years. He was expecting an entitled brat, but Lionel was pleasantly surprised to find just the opposite,” a source told Hollywood Life on September 4. “Justin charmed him right off the bat because he’s a huge Commodores fan and he grew up with his dad playing all of Lionel’s solo stuff. Justin’s also a perfect gentleman with [Sofia Richie], at least so far.”
The source added that Lionel appreciated how Bieber “put his fans in their place” after they began to write nasty comments about Sofia Richie online following their public debut.
