Rihanna And Drake Take Their Romance To The Next Level, What Will Chris Brown Think?

Rihanna and Drake are officially dating, and days ago, they took their romance to the next level with matching tattoos.

After getting inked by artist Bang Bang in Miami after one of Drake’s concerts, a source claims the couple, who had been linked on and off for the past few years, is determined to make their relationship work this time around.

Rihanna and Drake “want to make this work this time with each other,” a source told E! News on September 2. “Drake is very committed to Rihanna… They are both mature and ready to commit now. Drake loves Rihanna so much and if it was up to him, he would marry her tomorrow.”

Although Drake may be prepared to get down on one knee for Rihanna, her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, isn’t prepared to deal with any such news. Earlier this year, a source claimed Brown would be furious if Rihanna and Drake were to become engaged.

“Dating is fine. Hook ups are fine. But if Chris got wind that Drake actually proposed to Rihanna, he wouldn’t let that happen,” a source revealed to Hollywood Life. “He doesn’t Believe Drake’s the man who could offer Rihanna everything she’d want in life. He believes Drake sees [women] as trophies and doesn’t want Ri to be the next girl on his trophy wall. Yeah, Chris isn’t ready to be in a true committed relationship with Ri at this moment, but if Drake tried to take her off the market, it would force Chris to man up quickly.”

Rihanna and Drake first faced dating rumors in 2009 after Rihanna’s troubled relationship with Chris Brown came to an end. At the time, as reported by Newsday, Rihanna and Drake were reportedly spotted kissing at a bowling alley in Manhattan. However, when he was asked about the potential relationship in the weeks that followed, Drake denied he and Rihanna were dating.

In the years that followed, Rihanna and Drake continued their working relationship and collaborated on many tracks, including “Birthday Cake” and “Take Care.” Then, in 2014, Rihanna and Drake embarked on an official relationship and around that time, Drake labeled Rihanna as his “ultimate fantasy” during an interview with Rolling Stone magazine.

While Rihanna and Drake ended their exclusive relationship with one another in May 2014, they continued to be spotted together in the years that followed and during last month’s MTV Video Music Awards, Drake presented Rihanna with the Video Vanguard Award.

In his presentation, Drake spoke about Rihanna’s impressive career and gushed about being in love with the “Needed Me” singer.

“We love the music, which can change styles from album to album,” he said. “We love the videos which change their artistic vision from year to year. But most of all, we love the woman who hasn’t changed from day one. She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22-years-old. She’s one of my best friends in the world. All my adult life, I’ve looked up to her, even though she’s younger than me. She’s a living, breathing legend in our industry.”

Following Drake’s speech, he and Rihanna stepped out at the Up & Down nightclub in New York City and have since been seen together numerous times in Miami.

“Things are different this time between [Rihanna and Drake] for the better,” the E! News source added.

As for their tattoos, Rihanna got her shark tattoo on Aug. 31, and fans later caught a glimpse of Drake’s matching ink during one of his shows.
