Mila Kunis And Ashton Kutcher: On Divorce And Protecting Daughter Wyatt

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are not shy when it comes to sharing about parenthood and their daughter Wyatt. The two often relay fun stories about the toddler and also make light of the challenges that often come when experiencing being first time parents. As the two get set to welcome their second child, their view on the privacy of their children remains a pertinent topic. Though they share about Wyatt, from the time she was born, the actors were sure to keep her away from the media and instead released pictures as they saw fit of the cutie. Now as she nears 2-years-old, Ashton spoke about his intentions to keep Wyatt away from the public eye and the world of show business.

Game N Guide shared the words of the Jobs star.

“When asked if he’d allow Wyatt to join the same industry, he vehemently answered ‘No.’ Ashton Kutcher thought for a little while and began to reconsider. ‘As long as it’s not a choice that she is making, it is my job to protect her from all this nonsense,’ Kutcher said. He then clarified that he would agree if she’s old enough to decide for herself.”

The star sat down to speak with Entertainment Tonight about his and Mila’s daughter, who will celebrate her second birthday within the month. Ashton also spoke about a funny scenario that involved their daughter dropping her first F-bomb.

“Mila comes into the bedroom and is like ‘Puppy peed on the stairwell,’ and I go ‘F**k,’ and I walk away like this and all of a sudden, I hear behind me, ‘F**k,’ I turn around [and] she legitimately is like, ‘F**k,’ and I was like, ‘Fox. I said fox. Papa said fox.’ She was like, ‘F**k,’ and I was like, ‘No, fox. I said fox.’ And she’s like, ‘Fox.’ ‘Yes, that’s fox! Fox is fine. You can go with fox all day.'”

Although Mila and Ashton are quite secretive about their own relationship as well, Mila, much like Ashton, enjoys been vocal about her experience as a mother and how they are preparing for baby no. 2. While promoting the upcoming film in which she stars Bad Moms, Kunis has made links between her character in the film and her real-life role as a mother to Wyatt.

The Times of India relays the beauty’s words on the subject of motherhood and how she feels it has changed her in life.

“It changed everything. It gave me a really interesting sense of confidence. My priorities shifted and I think I became incredibly selfless. Knowing that I was going to have a baby made me be like, I have to give up so much of myself and I’m happy to do that. It wasn’t like, oh I’ll sacrifice. It was more, I want to do this.”

Kunis has also recently spoke about how having children has made her career secondary. While she still is prominent on the entertainment scene, Mila shares that before children, she would have taken any role that sounded interesting to her, no matter where the location for filming was. Now the star admits that she and Ashton choose roles and projects that allow them to be close to their daughter and that they balance schedules so that one of them is always there for their daughter.

Unfortunately, along with all of the happy coverage about the couple, who recently announced they are expecting once more, the tabloids have attempted to dig up dirt and ruin something that seems so perfect by churning out divorce rumors. As Ashton shared during his interview, such claims are far from true and the couple is going strong.
