Did Sofia Richie Copy Selena Gomez While On Vacation With Justin Bieber?
Sofia Richie and Justin Bieber are currently on vacation, and in a new series of photos of the couple, something looked very familiar.
As Sofia Richie and her new boyfriend spent time together at their hotel suite on the beach, fans noticed that she was wearing a swimsuit that was nearly identical to one worn by Bieber’s ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez.
On August 28, Hollywood Life shared details of the “terrible coincidence.”
“Sofia Richie, 18, looked super cute while she was frolicking around Cabo San Lucas with new guy Justin Bieber, 22, on August 27. The model was wearing a high-waisted bikini, with crisp white bottoms, and a tiny triangle top,” the outlet revealed to readers.
“Hold up, though. Selena Gomez, 24, wore the same swimsuit back in July 2014, while celebrating her 22nd birthday on board a yacht in St. Tropez.”

At the time Gomez wore the suit, she and a few of her close friends, including Cara Delevingne, were enjoying a short vacation and Gomez was reportedly attempting to get over her breakup with Bieber.
Sofia Richie and Justin Bieber were first spotted together in Laguna Beach, California earlier this month before heading to Japan, where they posed for a series of photos together, one of which ultimately led Bieber to quit Instagram.
After Bieber posted a photo of himself and Sofia Richie in the car on Instagram, telling fans to stop being so critical of the people he likes, Gomez called him out by suggesting he keep his relationship private. She also told him his fans loved him. However, Bieber didn’t take her advice too kindly and returned to Instagram where he proceeded to accuse the “Same Old Love” singer of using him for attention. In response, Gomez proclaimed that she was the one who had forgiven him for cheating on her multiple times.
As Sofia Richie’s romance with Bieber continued, so did Bieber’s feud with Gomez and after she shared her last message about him cheating, he suggested she too had engaged in an inappropriate relationship with Zayn Malik while they were dating.
“Selena wishes she didn’t care about what Justin is doing. She wishes she didn’t spend even a minute of her time thinking about him and who he is dating. Unfortunately, the truth is she just can’t completely let go. She still has feelings for him, which is beyond frustrating,” a source explained to Hollywood Life at the time.

Last week, a source spoke out, dishing on Sofia Richie’s romance with Bieber and revealing just what it is that the singer sees in the model.
“Justin has been doting on [Sofia Richie] for every need she may have since they started hanging out,” a source told Hollywood Life. “His chauffeur has been driving her around town in his Escalade, and security follows her when she steps out of the house for coffee.”
“What Justin likes most about [Sofia] is that she makes him laugh,” continued the source. “She reminds him not to take himself so seriously, and vice versa. They just get each other and vibe really well.”
Sofia Richie is one of many love interests of Bieber in 2016. At the beginning of the year, the singer was involved in a romance with model Hailey Baldwin before reportedly moving on to a number of other women, including Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kourtney Kardashian, Transformers actress Nicole Peltz and model Sahara Ray.
