Kevin Hart Marries Longtime Girlfriend Eniko Parrish — See The Pics!
Kevin Hart has finally tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend, Eniko Parrish, Saturday in a grand wedding held in Santa Barbara, California, surrounded by family and friends, Entertainment Tonight reports.
The 37-year-old actor walked down the aisle accompanied by his two kids from a previous marriage, his son, Hendrix, 8, and daughter, Heaven, 11.
Parrish wore a stunning lace mermaid gown during the wedding and changed into a chic Vera Wang gown before gracing the reception. Hart, meanwhile, wore a sharp-looking traditional black tux.
The couple took to Instagram to share photos taken at the wedding. The photos also featured Hart’s two children.
“#Harts what’s understood doesn’t need to be said!!!! #LiveLoveLove,” Kevin captioned one Instagram photo that was taken after the ceremony.
Kevin and Eniko, who have been dating for more than seven years before getting married, got engaged on August 18, 2014, which was also the day of the model’s 30th birthday.
In a video shared via Instagram, Kevin Hart is seen holding a microphone to give Parrish the sweetest proposal speech before getting down on one knee and popping the question.
“On this perfect day I chose to make the most perfect decision,” Kevin told Parrish before asking for her hand in marriage.
“I said YES!!!!! To the most amazing man in the world,” Parrish wrote on Instagram.
Back in January, Hart told ET at the Los Angeles premiere of his film The Wedding Ringer that he doesn’t want to involve himself with the wedding plans because he feels that he’d only be a nuisance.
“I want nothing to do with the planning! “The reason I’m stepping out of the way? I don’t want to be a part of the problem!” Hart said.
“It’s your day, honey. Be happy,” Hart added.
Since their engagement, Hart and Parrish have had no qualms in packing on the PDA on social media, as they exchanged sweet messages and shared many of their romantic dates on Instagram and Snapchat.
On Saturday, just a few days before the actual wedding, Kevin shared a Snapchat video of himself and Eniko having a stroll at a beach resort in California.
A month ago Parrish shared an Instagram photo to commemorate Kevin’s 37th birthday, in which they shared a romantic dinner in a yacht.
Kevin Hart admits that the wedding was a long time coming on account of the fact that he and Parrish have been dating for seven years.
“I already feel married, the wedding is really just for her,” Hart said in a cover story with Entertainment Weekly.
In April, Kevin told ET that the expensive wedding is worth the trouble because of his all-consuming love for his then-future bride.
“I’m looking at numbers — everything she says to me, I’m like, ‘Yeah, that’s great. It’s gonna be nice. How much?'” he joked. “We’re in some crazy places right now, but it’s all worth it. You know why? Because this is the woman that I love. And I want my woman to have a perfect day. That’s what any man should want.”
Kevin Hart was previously married to Atlanta Exes actress Torrei Hart before they parted ways in February, 2010.
In an interview with ET two years ago, the comedian actor explained why he and Torrei had to part ways.
“When people get married young, you don’t really understand the true definition of marriage,” Kevin said as he talked about himself and his ex-wife getting married at 24. “You have to learn to be partners for real, and in my first relationship, I didn’t understand that definition because I was young, so you do things that you shouldn’t do.”
