Katy Perry’s religious parents reportedly didn’t have much of an opinion regarding Orlando Bloom’s decision to show his genitals during a recent outing with his girlfriend on August 3.

According to Hollywood Life, it’s unclear whether her father, Keith, and mother, Mary, have seen the photos, but they have definitely heard about it. Yet instead of weighing in on whether they approve or disapprove of Orlando’s skinny-dipping controversy, a source explains that Katy’s parents are far from judgmental about the decision made by Katy’s boyfriend.

“They feel like it’s really none of their business if Orlando prefers to be naked when he’s on vacation. This isn’t going to change how they feel about him,” an insider explained, adding that Keith and Mary are convinced that Orlando is a great guy for Katy Perry regardless.

The outlet mentions that Katy’s parents have met Orlando several times in recent months, and whenever they get together, Bloom always tends to leave a great impression on Perry and her family — so much that he has even been considered “the one.”

“Katy’s parents have met Orlando and were very impressed. They think he is a complete gentleman and approve of him 100%. They have never seen their daughter happier and that’s what matters most to them.”

While there have been times when Katy Perry’s previous boyfriends weren’t welcome by her parents, as Celebs Now reveals, Orlando Bloom is the complete opposite. He reportedly handles himself very classy and knows a thing or two about respect. His choice in skinny-dipping with a group of pals has nothing to do with how they feel about the actor as a person, because from what they have seen of him, he makes for a great family man.

Orlando and Katy have only been dating for six months, and Bloom has already impressed her parents, giving fans the impression that this romance is bound to last.

The 39-year-old Hollywood star is Katy Perry’s first boyfriend since her split from on-again-off-again boyfriend, John Mayer, who she dumped for the fourth time after allegedly having found out that the singer was cheating on her with other women, Celebuzz reports.

Cheating allegations always surrounded Katy and John’s relationship, particularly whenever Perry geared up to call it quits with Mayer, who would eventually find himself reconciling with the “Rise” hitmaker. But this time, there’s no going back for the 31-year-old now that she has finally met someone who treats her the way she wants to be treated.

Katy Perry is just months away from releasing her forthcoming studio album, meaning that she will be undergoing a gruelling promotional tour that will keep her away from Orlando for weeks on end, but the singer is far from worried about Bloom, knowing that the actor only has his eyes set on her.

Last month, Orlando proved himself to be quite the doting boyfriend, as he arrived at the DNC in support of his girlfriend’s performance, all while backing Hillary Clinton’s presidential election campaign. Hollywood Life mentions that Orlando even helped Katy write her speech prior to singing her latest song, “Rise,” in front of thousands of Clinton supporters.
