Gwyneth Paltow Reveals She Is In Therapy And Cries All The Time


Gwyneth Paltrow may seem like a woman who has everything, but she recently revealed that she cries all the time. The Academy Award winning actress admitted during an interview with In Style that she is in therapy and sobs a lot due to sadness or uncertainty.

The 39-year-old blonde is married to a rock star and has two adorable children, yet some parts of her life still leave her feeling blue, according to Radar Online.

Paltrow had this to say about why she pushed herself so hard with work during the In Style interview:

“You can call my shrink on that one. The positive thing that drives me is a curiosity and momentum. The negative is a need to validate myself or feel special. Like a childhood need to differentiate myself.”

The interviewer was also the star’s friend and fashion designer, Diane von Furstenberg. The leading lady also discussed her postpartum depression with her pal. While revealing her highly emotional side, the actress also talked about her son Moses and daughter Apple.

Gwyneth had this to say about her children:

“When Apple as born, she had the hugest blue eyes. I looked into them, and she was looking at me, and I felt like, you are here to teach me everything. After Moses was born I had postpartum depression. It was a difficult time, and because of that I believe I have extra empathy for him and he for me.”

Paltrow stated that she cried a half an hour before the interview, said she cried all the time and referred to herself as a crybaby.
