Gwyneth Paltrow Is No Longer Friends With Madonna

Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna have been friends for quite some time. However, according to Showbiz Spy, the pair have reportedly ended their decade-long friendship. Instead of focusing all of her energy on the Like a Virgin singer, Paltrow now has her sights set on another celebrity friendship. Cameron Diaz, who is allegedly pretty unhappy about being single, will have her life uplifted by the enlightening presence of Paltrow.

“Everything always revolved around Madonna,” a source recently explained to US Weekly. “She is finally done.”

Since folks describe the Iron Man 3 co-star as a nurturer, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that Gwyneth, who was declared the Best Dressed Woman of the Year by People Magazine, has taken an interest in Cameron Diaz’s personal well-being. If Paltrow has anything to say about it, then Diaz won’t stay single for much longer.

Just recently, Diaz and Paltrow showed up together at the Obama Victory Fund 2012 dinner at Mark’s club in London, England. Gwyneth reportedly co-hosted the event alongside fashion icons Anna Wintour Tom Ford. In case you were wondering, Paltrow was sporting a white dress while Diaz was rocking a pink jumpsuit. These are obviously important things to know in these troubled times.

In-between finding a suitable suitor for her new best friend, Gwyneth Paltrow has found time to work on a number of projects. Next up for the actress is the sex addiction dramedy Thanks for Sharing, which stars Mark Ruffalo, Tim Robbins, Carol Kane, Patrick Fugit, and singer Pink. Presently, Paltrow is working on the nexxt installment in the popular superhero franchise Iron Man with Robert Downey Jr., Guy Pearce, and Ben Kingsley. The film is slated to open on May 3, 2013.

Cameron Diaz, meanwhile, can be seen in director Michael Hoffman’s Gambit, a film that was penned by Fargo filmmakers Ethan and Joel Coen. Look for the film to arrive on November 21.
