Although by looking at the Duchess of Cambridge, one would think that she is just simply all natural, without the slightest bit of assistance in achieving her lovely glow and radiance, believe it or not, Kate does actually appeal to experts for their advice in getting these results.

Before her Royal Wedding in 2011, Middleton requested the help of Arabella Preston for the purpose of teaching the beautiful royal to do her own makeup before the big event. The notable makeup and skincare guru also began the Votary skincare line, which has been adopted by the Duchess to help maintain her flawless looking skin.

The products have 100 percent natural ingredients and include a variety of seeds, oils, green tea, chia seeds and pomegranate, as Hello! notes. Preston spoke about the royal-worthy skincare products in an interview recently.

“If you’re someone that cares about what you eat, of course it makes complete sense to care about what you put on your skin too.”

In addition to using products that have natural benefits, Arabella also shares that massaging a facial oil onto the skin daily will help to increase circulation and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, which is something the makeup artist admits to have passed on to Middleton before her extravagant wedding.

The Duchess is known for doing her own makeup for events that she attends, as she shared in her cover story with Vogue UK earlier this year. Preston assisted Kate by reminding her of the essentials required to always look her best. Additionally, a source close to Kate relayed to the publication that the mother of two is a fan of the Popular Urban Decay line, especially their NAKED eyeshadow array of colors to bring out her stunning eyes. Other products Kate uses to complete the look include Lancome’s Artliner eyeliner and the same brand’s Hypnôse mascara.

It seems of late, Kate is attempting some new trendsetting hairstyles and looks. The royal is known to always be an icon in regards to her fashion choices and her effect on the industry. Just by donning a piece from any given designer results in massive success for the business. The Kate Effect doesn’t just make its impact in the world of fashion either. Kate’s choices of hair care products, hairstyles, skincare lines, and makeup products also become must-haves as soon as the public is made aware of them.

The Duchess’ secret for keeping her feet good and comfy in her designer shoe wear, involved simply inserting Alice Bow leather insoles that became a hot trend last year following revelation of the information. US Weekly noted the benefits of the specific product, last summer.

“Say hello to the Duchess’ secret weapon: Alice Bow insoles. According to a source, ‘Kate recently bought several pairs of Alice Bow insoles at the Selfridges department store in London. She picked up versions of the insole for both flat shoes and heels in an assortment of colors.’ The source added, ‘The Duchess is a fan of the brand.'”

Following the revelation of these tiny sticky insoles being Kate’s secret weapon, the Kate Effect took hold once more, and the Alice Bow inserts began to sell out fast. The company website was updated when this lovely phenomenon resulted and shared how Middleton impacted sales.

“[The Alice Bow leather insoles]… at the moment is experiencing a ‘delightfully unexpected volume of orders,’ as stated on the company’s website. “

These latest products that have been revealed as assisting Duchess Kate in achieving her fresh-faced look will likely see a massive increase in sales, much like all other products the young royal admits to using.
