Pippa Middleton Ready For Boyfriend James Matthews To Pop Question After Wimbledon?

Pippa Middleton had a blast this Wimbledon season. Not only did she witness British tennis player Andy Murray take home the Men’s championship title, but she debuted her relationship with her boyfriend James Matthews to the public.

Now that the tennis tournament is over, the word on the street is that she is readying herself for the question that is about to change her life.

“Pippa Middleton’s boyfriend James Matthews had a meeting with her mother Carole last week – without his significant other in tow – in what could be a sign that he is ready to propose,” reports the Daily Mail. “It is traditionally the father’s permission a would-be husband must seek, but any man wanting to marry a Middleton must surely win over the formidable matriarch, not just dad Michael.”

James Matthews has been a very supportive boyfriend. Not only has he spent quality time with her on vacations to Corsica and St. Barts, but he also took part in many of her grueling races in Switzerland and China. So, his next step in asking for her hand seems rather natural.

He didn’t disappoint his possible future in-laws by dressing up. The same article states that he “dressed to impress when he met Carole at Spanish restaurant Cambio De Tercio in South Kensington last week,” a very stylish and chic place to dine.

This is not the first time that the rumors of Pippa Middleton and James Matthews getting engaged have come up.

“James Matthews is whisking her away to the Caribbean island of St Barts in September – where he might pop the question at his parents’ exclusive hotel, Eden Rock,” reported the Daily Mail a few weeks before the start of Wimbledon. “A ‘save the date card’ is already circulating among close pals with the message: ‘Don’t Tell Pippa,’ while mum Carole is in on it, too.”

James Matthews’ meeting with Pippa’s mother comes just days after she debuted their relationship at Wimbledon.

“Pippa Middleton made another stylish appearance at Wimbledon on Wednesday – this time alongside her boyfriend James Matthews,” reports Hello! Magazine. “This was the first public appearance for the couple who have been dating for over six months.”

Before James finally joined her in the courtside seats, Pippa was enjoying many of the games by herself and her friends. Seeing how big of an amatuer athlete that she is, it’s no wonder that Wimbledon is one of her favorite events of the year.

While she and her boyfriend have been caught multiple times on paparazzi’s cameras, they have not made the decision to showcase their relationship. This year’s Wimbledon seems to have come at a perfect time for the new Middleton couple to show that they are ready to take the next step.

PIppa hasn’t been playing down the free publicity either. She has been applauded for her great sense of style, her many day dresses having won over fashion critics.

“The Duchess of Cambridge’s younger sister has been turning heads at the tennis championships over the past few days, thanks to a recent dress streak,” reports Harper’s Bazaar. “Though her sister Kate may reign in royal dressing, Pippa rules just as well courtside.”

If you are wondering, the couple has already moved in together, months ago.

“As the Royal sister-in-law enjoyed a romantic holiday in Corsica with hedge fund manager James Matthews last week, removal men were busy loading her possessions into his £17 million West London home,” reports the Daily Mail. “They discreetly moved tables and chairs, dresses, coats, shoes and ornaments into his palatial property from the nearby apartment Pippa had been sharing with her brother James.”

Looks like their relationship is on the fast track towards something much more serious!
