‘BBWLA’ Star Malaysia Pargo Talks ‘LHHATL’ Star Bambi Benson’s Wedding, Claims Draya Michele Feud Is Still Going Strong

Before Bambi Benson was on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, she spent some time starring in another VH1 reality show. During her time on Basketball Wives LA, Bambi cemented her friendship with Malaysia Pargo. Pargo also managed to slip some major shade about another BBWLA cast member when she took a few shots at Draya Michele during the interview.

It turns out that Bambi and Malaysia grew up together in Compton and have remained close friends for years. Now that Bambi is getting married, Malaysia naturally has all the details and she isn’t shy about sharing some of what she knows. As for getting information about who the bridesmaids will be and what everyone will be wearing, Malaysia’s lips are sealed; Bambi will reveal the details if and when she is ready.

Lil Scrappy finally proposed to Bambi during Season 5 of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. While the proposal has not played out on TV, there is still time for the VH1 cameras to put something together for the reality TV couple. Many fans are expecting to see the proposal either at the end of Season 5 or the beginning of Season 6. Based on the history of the show, it wouldn’t be too far-fetched for there to be an LHHATL wedding special, as well. Bambi even said she was open to the idea of a televised wedding, but that she wouldn’t necessarily want everyone from the cast to be there. Would you want to see Lil Scrappy and Bambi Benson say their vows on a special show?

VH1 has done it before when they broadcast Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris’ wedding last year during their Memorial Day special. The Love & Hip Hop wedding was beautiful, and it was attended by several reality stars including those on the show with them as well as crossovers like Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker. Let’s just hope that Love & Hip Hop Atlanta fans are hoping that Lil Scrappy and Bambi will be willing to put their wedding on-air for everyone to watch as well.

Bambi’s engagement was the focus of Malaysia Pargo’s VH1 interview but she was also asked about her own show. Specifically, Malaysia was asked about the awkward reunion show and her obvious issues with Angel Brinks. “I felt like last season Angel took advantage of my kindness,” Malaysia revealed. “I felt like her friend guided her in a way, to try and destroy my image and I felt like with her business I did nothing but to try and promote her.”

Draya Michele isn’t even on Basketball Wives LA anymore, but that hasn’t stopped the drama. According to Malaysia Pargo, the feud with her former co-star is still raging on. When VH1 caught up to Malaysia for an interview and asked about the last season of BBWLA — which Draya wasn’t even on — Malaysia was still able to tie the drama back to the new mom, blaming her for the way Angel Brinks treated her. Malaysia’s hatred of Draya is so deep that the basketball wife won’t even say her former friend’s name ever again.

One thing that VH1 didn’t seem to touch on is the finalization of Malaysia Pargo’s divorce. Malaysia is one of the few women from Basketball Wives LA who really was married to an NBA player for 10 years. Malaysia and Jannero Pargo recently finalized their divorce, and Malaysia made out really well in the divorce deal. The Inquisitr reported on Malaysia’s windfall after finally ending her union with Jannero, and let’s just say that she made out like a bandit.
