‘The 100’ Season 4: Will ‘Bellarke’ Ever Happen? Eliza Taylor On The Future Of Clarke’s Love Life [Spoilers]

The 100 fans were heartbroken when Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey) died last season. Since the character is no longer alive, it is doubtful she will return, unless it is in flashbacks, dreams, or perhaps a vision to Clarke Griffin (Eliza Taylor). So, what does the romantic future hold for Clarke in Season 4? Will the heroine find love again? Some fans who are “Bellarke” shippers are wondering if Bellamy and Clarke could get together. No definite answers have been revealed, but there are strong hints and theories.

Warning: Spoilers, rumors, and theories for Season 4 of The 100 are ahead.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, The 100 Season 4 will deal with a nuclear crisis, one that Clarke and the Sky Crew are expected to handle. If the characters do not solve the power plant problem, Alie (Erica Cerra) said the Earth would be uninhabitable within six months.

As with all TV shows, the characters won’t just be dealing with a threat, but issues in their personal lives. Marie Avgeropoulos wants Octavia Blake to go rogue and Bob Morley is hoping for Bellamy Blake to reconcile with his sister. What about Clarke Griffin in The 100 Season 4?

“I don’t know [if she will love again]. I don’t know if that is a possibility for her given what she’s just been through,” Eliza Taylor explained at Oz Comic-Con, according to Enstars. “I hope it is, but, in honor of Lexa, I think it would be hard for fans to see.”

Taylor is absolutely right about it being too soon. Clarke shouldn’t jump from relationship to relationship. The love “Clexa” shared was genuine and Clarke needs time to grieve and heal. That won’t happen overnight.

As for the possibility of “Bellarke,” fans shouldn’t expect that to happen anytime soon, if ever. Although Bellamy and Clarke have chemistry, it isn’t a romantic type of chemistry. They are friends, they respect one another, and they will always try to protect the Sky Crew. Both know how difficult it is to make decisions when there doesn’t seem to be a right choice. Their chemistry isn’t romantic.

According to Design & Trend, if “Bellarke” happened, then that would pretty much confirm Bob Morley’s character would die in The 100. Eliza Taylor joked about how all of Clarke’s partners die and Bellamy would be next if the two became involved.

Other spoilers and theories for The 100 Season 4 include Jaha (Isaiah Washington) trying to get followers again and the Sky Crew working on the nuclear crisis. Also, Octavia will go down deeper into despair and will be “darker.” Actress Marie Avgeropoulos actually referred to her character as being a “double-edged sword” next season. It is likely that Clarke and Abby (Paige Turco) will have some emotional trauma to deal with, thanks to Alie’s actions. Fans can’t forget about the Grounders, who will probably still want justice for Indra’s (Adina Porter) army, even though Octavia already killed Pike (Michael Beach) at the end of the Season 3 finale.

Speaking of Octavia and Pike, her actions will change things for the Sky Crew. It was teased a while back that it will affect the way the Arkadians survive in Season 4 of The 100.

There are so many questions, but few answers this early. Creator Jason Rothenberg and his team of writers are working on creating the script for The 100 Season 4 right now. While The CW is airing other television shows this fall, don’t expect to see the Sky Crew back until early 2017.
