Kris Jenner Told Blac Chyna Her & Rob’s Marriage Must Last 3 Years In Exchange For Reality Show

According to reports, Kris Jenner is so determined to avoid another divorce drama like Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries’ that she allegedly made Blac Chyna promise to be married to her son, Rob Kardashian, for “at least three years.”

Radar Online is claiming that Jenner recently sat down with Chyna to make the deal, which supposedly came in exchange for Blac and Rob’s upcoming E! reality show.

The site is claiming that Kris told Blac that “she must give up her free will to [sic] in order to finally become reality TV famous,” and allegedly asked Chyna to make a pact that her and Rob’s marriage would last at least 36 months before she would broker their new reality series deal.

“In exchange for the show, Kris made Chyna agree to remain married to Rob for at least three years,” an insider claimed to Radar Online this week, just days after E! announced that Kardashian and Chyna’s reality series will be debuting on the network later this year.

According to the insider, Jenner asked Blac to make the marriage promise out of fears that Blac could divorce Kardashian shortly after they wed, just as his sister Kim Kardashian did with her short-lived husband Kris Humphries in 2011.

“Kris refuses to have another Kris Humphries nightmare,” the source told the site following Kardashian and Chyna’s reality announcement, referring to Kim’s 72-day marriage to Kris that caused a PR nightmare for the Kardashian matriarch.

The source also claimed that Kris told Blac Chyna that she and Kardashian, who are currently expecting their first child together, “have to attend prenuptial counselling” during their serious sit down. “She wants Rob and Chyna to be the perfect husband and wife,” the insider revealed.

E! announced earlier this week that Rob and Blac had landed their own reality series, which the network confirmed would follow Blac and her fiancé as they prepare for the birth of their first child.

The network announced that Chyna and Kardashian’s show currently has the working title Rob & Chyna and will follow the newly engaged couple’s life before culminating “with a separate special at a later time celebrating the birth of their first child together.”

“Very few love stories have created as much pop culture buzz as Rob and Chyna’s, and we are thrilled to see Rob in such a happy place,” Jeff Olde, executive vice president of original programming & development at E!, said in a statement of Chyna and Kardashian’s series. “We are excited to share the next chapter in their relationship.”

Reports claiming that Kris Jenner, who serves as mom and manager for the Kardashian and Jenner clan, laid down the law with Blac Chyna come after People revealed following the announcement of Blac’s pregnancy that Jenner is ready to make some serious cash from Blac’s baby news.

“Kris is loving the news from a financial perspective,” a source told the site of how Jenner reacted to Chyna and Rob’s baby announcement, “because she sees this as an amazing media opportunity and financial gain.”

Radar Online also previously claimed that Blac and Kardashian’s baby and upcoming wedding had Kris seeing dollar signs, revealing weeks before E! announced their new show that Jenner was most definitely on-board to land Blac and Rob a Keeping Up with the Kardashians spin-off series.

“Blac and Rob can really make a lot of money with Kris,” a source revealed earlier this year. “Kris knows how to make sure they get paid for every little thing and to make sure their show is super profitable.”
