Miley Cyrus On Wedding With Liam Hemsworth, Feud With Alicia Keys On ‘The Voice’ Season 11

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are happier than ever. The on-again, off-again couple is now allegedly busy planning for their upcoming wedding with the “Wrecking Ball” singer’s father, Billy Ray Cyrus.

In an interview with E! News, Billy Ray Cyrus refused to confirm if Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are indeed engaged. He, however, shared that the two are “so happy” in each other’s company and that is what is important. Billy Ray shared that he and Miley have always prioritized happiness over anything. Seeing her with Liam, the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer said that her daughter is finally happy once again.

“Miley and I, we always had this slogan—’If you ain’t happy, it ain’t working.’ Just seeing these—I still call ’em kids—these two kids happy, that’s all that matters.”

While Miley and Liam have yet to confirm or deny the highly-anticipated wedding, Billy Ray said that he will be more than happy to walk her daughter down the aisle. He added that if the couple decided to give him any wedding duties, he will be honored to do so. He hinted that he may even end up marrying the two.

“They want me to be the butler—that’s fine. Whatever they choose. I might make a good preacher.”

On multiple occasions, Miley Cyrus was spotted wearing the 3.5 carat diamond engagement ring Liam Hemsworth gave her in 2012, which caused many fans to speculate that the wedding is back on.

In other news, Miley Cyrus will be joining The Voice Season 11 as a full-time coach, alongside veterans Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and newcomer Alicia Keys. Back in April, Us Weekly reported that the Maroon 5 frontman was not too happy when he found out that Cyrus agreed to come on board. Turns out, the Hannah Montana star felt the same way.

“They find each other annoying. Adam would get agitated when Miley would interrupt him, and she enjoyed getting under his skin.”

According to Radar Online, while bringing Miley on The Voice Season 11 may sound like a good idea at first, the producers are starting to regret their decision. Adam and Miley reportedly bickered non-stop until their last taping together.

“He nitpicks almost every single thing she says. Adam seems to find Miley to be extremely loud-mouthed and absolutely annoying!”

Apart from Adam Levine, some The Voice fans are hoping that they will see a bit of banter between Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys. The Hannah Montana star pointed out that viewers are used to seeing Blake and Adam go back and forth and were expecting the same from the girls. She, however, explained that it will not be their style, adding that it will be “very much the opposite.”

On The Tonight Show, Miley told Jimmy Fallon that they will not resort to drama and cat fights just to boost the ratings of The Voice Season 11. Rather than pitting the two women against each other, she shared that it will be a total love fest between them, as they were both “mellow” individuals.

“I think people, when they put girls on TV, they [think], ‘This is how we’re going to get the ratings up because there’s going to be drama and there’s going to be cat fights.’ They’re thinking that we’re just going to bring kind of the dramatics to the show and we couldn’t be more opposite,” she explained.
