Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Face Pregnancy And Engagement Rumors Before ‘Go Ahead And Break My Heart’ Performance On ‘The Voice’

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton continue to be faced with rumors of a pregnancy and engagement as they prepare for their upcoming performance on The Voice.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have only been dating for about 7 months, but that hasn’t stopped multiple outlets from reporting on the possibility of Gwen Stefani’s potential plans for a baby with Shelton — and the couple’s allegedly upcoming wedding. In fact, rumors have been swirling since they began dating last year.

On May 8, Hollywood Take reported news of the couple’s latest outing, revealing that while Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton may not be engaged quite yet, they certainly aren’t shying away from sharing their admiration for each other publicly.

During the premiere of The Angry Birds Movie over the weekend, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton were spotted getting cozy and being flirtatious as they enjoyed the new flick with Stefani’s two oldest sons, Kingston, 9, and Zuma, 7, and her niece, Stella.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton began dating at the end of 2015 after going through divorces from their former partners, Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert, respectively. At the time, the couple was filming The Voice Season 9 and many of their flirty moments aired on the show.

After The Voice Season 9 came to an end, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton continued to get to know each other off set and were spotted together all over Los Angeles and also in Shelton’s hometown in Oklahoma.

As for what their future holds, an engagement and a baby could be coming soon.

“Blake could propose to [Gwen Stefani] very soon,” a source close to Shelton revealed to Us Weekly last month. “Gwen is everything he wants… With [Gwen Stefani], Blake has the family life he’d hoped to have with Miranda.”

During his 4 year marriage to Lambert, Shelton had no children of his own while Gwen Stefani shares 3 boys with ex-husband Rossdale.

“[Gwen Stefani’s] kids love him as much as she does,” the magazine’s insider continued.

And as Shelton continues to form a relationship with Stefani’s sons, the source claims he’s hoping to start a family with his leading lady in the future.

“Blake wants kids of his own, and [Gwen Stefani] is willing to try!” the source said.

Gwen Stefani and Shelton have been spending tons of time together in recent months, but when it comes to plans for a baby, they are likely currently on hold as both Stefani and Shelton are extremely busy with their careers.

Meanwhile, noted the source, “[Gwen Stefani] texts Blake a million times a day, but he doesn’t mind at all. Blake hasn’t been this happy in years!”

As Gwen Stefani continues to promote her new album and upcoming tour, Shelton is preparing for the May 20 release of his new album, If I’m Honest, which includes the duet he and Stefani will sing during the May 9 episode of The Voice.

“We were at a point where it’s like, ‘Do we want to go there? What will people think?’ And then we finally just got to the point where it’s like, ‘You know what? I don’t give a s***,” Shelton explained to People Magazine of the song, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” last month. “This song’s important to us and the fact that we wrote it together is so important to both of us.”
