‘Dishonored 2’: Amazing Art And Cast Members Who Will Lend Their Voices To The Game

If you’ve been following the announcement of Dishonored 2, then new details have arrived in regards to the voices that will lend their talent to the game.

Dishonored 2 will feature recognizable voices, according to Technobuffalo. It was reported that the cast of the game will feature actors and actresses from Daredevil and Game of Thrones.

The previous Dishonored, released in 2012, had its own impressive cast. These names included Susan Sarandon, Lena Headey, and Chloe Grace-Moretz. Not to be outdone, Arkane Studios has reported to GameInformer that such an all-star crew will also be moving into Dishonored2. If you’ve watched any of the Daredevil series, then you’re familiar with Wilson Fisk. Played by Vincent D’Onofrio, he will be voicing the Duke of Serkonos. His voice is one of a unique proportion, heavy and commanding. Additionally, Rosario Dawson will take on the voice role of the Dreadful Wale Captain. D’Onofrio and Dawson have both appeared on Marvel’s Daredevil, making the duo no strangers to fans.

Dishonored 2 will also be brought to life with the help of Pedro Pascale. If you’ve watched the exciting and emotional Game of Thrones, then you would recognize him as Oberyn Martell. Pascale will play the voice of the Howler Gang Leader. Sam Rockwell, who has been cast in Moon and Seven Psychopaths, will also be a voice in the game. Robin Lord Taylor, who plays Oswald Cobblepot on Gotham, is also reported to be making a vocal appearance. Jamie Hector, Stephen Russell, and Erica Luttrell will be taking up what some could consider the more important voice roles. Russell will take up the voice of Corvo Attano, and Luttrell will replace Chloe Grace-Moretz. With Dishonored 2 being the sequel, Luttrell is cast because Empress Emily Kaldwin — rightful heir to the throne in Dishonored — who will now be 25-years-old.

As if this news wasn’t enough to excite, GameInformer reported and unveiled some of the gorgeous art behind Dishonored 2. There’s a good number of pieces that are unveiled in the report, and much detail went into each submission with meticulous care. The main hub in which characters will appear is on the Dreadful Wale, a ship that players will report to upon the finish of every mission. In Dishonored, Corvo would simply return to the Hound Pits pub. There are quite a few changes this time around, but the core of the game remains.

Dishonored 2 is scheduled to be released November 11 of this year, and gameplay suggests that players will be able to embark upon one of two journeys at their discretion. The game will keep its theme of “choice,” and the player will be able to proceed as they desire. They can either stealthily engage targets, or they can simply decide to kill their targets with ruthless aggression. Furthermore, there’s also the reported “third” path that players can take, though not much information has been revealed on that front.

If the artwork of Dishonored 2 is any indication, then it’s clear that Arkane Studio has much in store for the sequel. Its role-playing game element makes its return, and players will have the ability to use a skill tree to enhance the road that accentuates their approach. Emily Kaldwin even has a “Far Reach” ability, allowing her to move without actual physical involvement. One can only wonder if this will allow players to see the world of Dishonored 2 in new ways.

What do you think of the released artwork for Dishonored 2? Is the game shaping up to be a sequel that you look forward to, or did the last Dishonored leave a bad taste? Let us know in the comments below.
