Kim Kardashian Divorce: Couple Looks Miserable Arriving In New York For Met Gala, Sparking New Divorce Rumors

Kim Kardashian is facing a new round of divorce rumors as she and Kanye West arrived in New York City for this year’s Met Gala looking gloomy, showing signs of the marital stress that is reportedly tearing them apart.

Kim and Kanye have been the subject of divorce rumors for several months now, but the reports have increased in frequency in recent weeks. Sources claim that the couple is fighting constantly, with Kim growing tired of Kanye’s alleged controlling ways and Kanye possibly planning a blindside divorce.

The latest divorce rumor comes via Radar Online, which caught up with the couple as they arrived in New York, looking miserable in each other’s company. While there was nothing new to report from the couple, the celebrity news outlet called back to an April report claiming that Kim and Kanye are essentially living separate lives now.

A source blamed their recent move, with the couple leaving their Bel Air mansion so they can finish several million dollars of renovations. The source said they are now sleeping in separate rooms.

“Kim and Kanye are at completely opposite sides of the spectrum when it comes to their move,” a Kardashian family insider told Radar Online.

The news comes just weeks after a separate report claiming that Kanye West was planning to divorce Kim Kardashian by the couple’s second wedding anniversary. InTouch magazine claimed that the couple has been fighting non-stop, with Kanye making cruel comments about Kim’s baby weight gain.

“Kanye has had enough, and he is going to dump her on their second anniversary in May,” the source told InTouch magazine (via Hollywood Life). “Kim will be mortified; it will be the ultimate humiliation for her. There’s no turning back now. It’s ironic: they each went into this thinking they were going to get exactly what they wanted — and to an extent they did — but then it all backfired, big time. His decision to dump her is going to sting. Kim has been humiliated many times in the past, but nothing will top this. I don’t know if she will ever recover from it.”

Other reports have painted Kim Kardashian as the instigator, saying she is the one who will divorce Kanye over his increasingly erratic behavior and frequent public tantrums.

The couple’s gloomy arrival in New York also pulled up memories of another recent marital spat. Back in February, the couple jetted to the Big Apple for Kanye’s fashion show, but they reportedly had a blow-out fight at the Waldorf Astoria hotel. Sources said Kanye blew up at the hotel’s staff after a perceived slight, yelling,“I am Kanye West and my wife is Kim f*****g Kardashian.”

The incident reportedly left Kim mortified.

“[Kim’s] embarrassed to no end over his gargantuan ego and ridiculous tweets,” a source told InTouch. “By the end of Fashion Week, she just wanted to crawl into a hole and hide.”

That incident led to speculation that Kim and Kanye could be headed for an especially bitter divorce, including a potential custody battle for their two children, North and Saint. It could have wider ramifications as well, with Kim’s billion-dollar reality television empire possibly at risk if she and Kanye were to split.

As always, neither Kanye West nor Kim Kardashian have addressed the divorce rumors. In fact, Kim is showing all the outward signs of a happy wife, sharing happy pictures of the couple on Instagram and making a number of appearances with her husband, including a recent trip to Iceland.
