Grigor Dimitrov Stays Quiet About Girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger Split Rumors
Nicole Scherzinger would like everyone to know that she is still dating Grigor Dimitrov. While the singer has been vocal about her relationship status, the Bulgarian star has been more silent about his status with Nicole Scherzinger.
“It had been claimed that she called time on her relationship with tennis ace Grigor Dimitrov,” reports Daily Mail. “But representatives of Nicole Scherzinger have confirmed to MailOnline that reports of the pair’s split are ‘completely false’. The claim had appeared in The Sun as the publication reported that the former Pussycat Doll, 37, had parted ways with the sportsman because she was ready to settle down.”
While his girlfriend has been battling split rumors, the Bulgarian has been working hard on his game, bombarding pictures and videos of him training for the clay court season.
The athlete does have a knack for taking beautiful photos during his workouts.
He might also be feeling the pressure from having a relationship with an older woman.
“At 24, the handsome Bulgarian is 13 years Nicole’s junior and the brunette beauty went public with the World no 28 as she was pictured kissing him at a tournament in Australia,” reports Daily Mail. “Nicole was formerly dating Formula 1 champ Lewis Hamilton on and off for seven years, with both parties said to be heartbroken when they went their separate ways in May last year.”
The couple may still be dating, but the age difference may become irreconcilable as days grow into months.
In fact, the last time that Nicole and Grigor were seen in public together was back in January, when they kicked off their relationship. They were PDA-ing all over the Brisbane Open, but since then, they have not been caught spending time together.

“Nicole, who was supporting her man at the Brisbane International tournament, looked very-loved up as she and Grigor strolled through the tennis grounds,” reports Hello! Magazine. “Walking hand-in-hand, the pair stopped to kiss before Nicole, 37, affectionately wiped her lipstick mark off her boyfriend’s lips.”
Meanwhile, the 24-year-old player is trying to hedge his bets at the Istanbul Open. In preparation of the big clay court tournament in France, he is sharpening his tools and game on the Turkish courts.
“After clinching a hard-fought three sets victory with 7-5 4-6 7-5 result at Garanti Koza Open in Istanbul against the Romanian qualifier, Adrian Ungur, second-seeded Grigor Dimitrov is through to the next round where he next faces tricky Jiri Vesely,” reports Tennis World.
An interesting point that the Bulgarian admits, he plays a better game when the odds are against him.
“I played a bad match today, but full credit to Ungur. He was pretty effective on his backhand,” admitted Dimitrov after the match. “That’s a bit weird, but I play my best tennis when I’m under pressure, as I was 15-30 down at 4-5 in third.”
Maybe that “pressure” he feels is also coming from his relationship with Nicole Scherzinger. The fact that she seems so adamant on making sure that the public knows that they are still together points to the fact that she may be holding on to something that may not last.
But, one of the reasons why they have not been seen together as much could be because of their efforts to keep their love life private.
“They’re completely besotted with each other,” said a source according to Perez Hilton. “But they’ve been careful not to be pictured together because they don’t want the pressure of the relationship being in the public eye.”
