Was Justin Bieber Used By Kourtney Kardashian To Make Scott Disick Jealous After He Heated Up Hookup With Gal Pal?
Kourtney Kardashian split up with her baby daddy, Scott Disick, last summer, and soon was reported to be heating up her hookup with Justin Bieber. Kourtney, 36, and the pop idol, who just turned 22, don’t seem to have a lot in common, but Kardashian reportedly enjoys the flirty fun that he offers. So does this mean that Kourtney and Scott are permanently over?
Kardashian claims that, although she and Disick have improved their relationship, there’s no hint of anything romantic, according to E News.
Kourtney’s discussion about Scott took place on NBC’s Today show, and Kathie Lee Gifford, who is a friend of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians family as well as co-host of the show, tried to get the 36-year-old to dish.
Kardashian emphasized that the two are friends, and focusing on parenting their children rather than rekindling their romance.
“I don’t know what the future holds in life, in God’s plan. But we’re just doing our best to be the best parents. We’re friends at this point.”
In addition, Kourtney recently was seen pushing Scott away on Snapchat videos when he attempted to kiss her, and Disick also tried to joke about the possibility of their renewed romance. However, Kardashian pointedly rebuffed her baby daddy.
Also interfering with the possibility of Scott and Kourtney getting back together? Two separate hookups, because while Kardashian is busy with Bieber, Disick has been hooking up with a 20-year-old gal pal, Christine Burke, according to the Hollywood Gossip.
And she’s not just a casual acquaintance, because Scott is allegedly living with Christine, even though their relationship has lasted less than two months. Is Kourtney feeling threatened by the way Disick so rapidly heated up his hookup? Reportedly so, and Kardashian therefore is staying close to the Biebs.
As for Bieber? He supposedly is aware that Kourtney is using him but he’s not worried about the situation. And according to the Hollywood Gossip‘s source, he’s even stringing along Selena.
“Justin promised Selena he was going to end his relationship with [Kourtney Kardashian], but he hasn’t done it yet. He told Selena she needed to be patient.”
One person who is worried about how the Biebs could affect Kourtney is her sister, Kim Kardashian, according to Hollywood Life. Kourtney had gone to her off-again-on-again boy toy’s concert recently, but Justin poured out his attention and affection on Gomez.
That turned into trouble for the Biebs, because the Kardashian sisters stick together. So when Kim learned about that betrayal, she was extremely upset. Justin seemed to be giving almost all of his attention to Selena, and almost ignoring Kourtney, despite their hookup.
Consequently, Kim took the pop star aside at an after-party to lecture him about how he should treat her sister. An insider told Hollywood Life the details.
“Kim…berated him. In a very calm voice and her eyes looking through his soul, Kim told Justin to stop playing with Kourtney’s emotions. She told him that Kourtney’s been through enough with Scott and the last thing she needs is to be tangled up in yet another love triangle,” revealed the insider.
In addition, Kim even gave the Biebs a “homework assignment.”
“[Kardashian] told him his homework assignment was to look it up, understand the meaning, and to think of Kourt when he reads the definition because that’s where she’s at in her life right now. Kim really didn’t want to ruin Justin’s night by talking his ear off and preaching to him, but she doesn’t want anyone messing with her family,” added the insider.
