Kylie Jenner Unveils Metallic Lipsticks & Handbags, Urges Tyga To Wed Amid Baby Rumor & Blac Chyna Feud?
Kylie Jenner, now 18, grew up in the public spotlight, thanks to Keeping Up With the Kardashians. But although Kylie was only 9-years-old when the family’s reality TV show debuted, Jenner now is the queen when it comes to how to use social media to become an entrepreneur, pointed out AdWeek.
She doesn’t sing, dance, act, or host a show. But Kylie does know how to appeal to her fans, with Instagram serving as the indicator of Jenner’s popularity. With more than 57 million followers on Instagram, Kylie quickly branched out to Snapchat to rank as the top celebrity. Whatever Jenner touches, from her own brand of lipstick to apparel, vanishes in terms of availability.
“The new definition of fame has everything to do with access,” contends MaryLeigh Bliss, chief content officer at youth research firm YPulse. “The Kardashian sisters are all famous, obviously, but Kylie is the social media native. Giving fans that access through such a huge variety of social media platforms is really easy and natural for her.”
Consequently, those who want to look like Jenner by wearing her lipstick can get ready for a new metallic look, according to Cosmopolitan.
Kylie showed off the new shades and their names on social media, living up to the expectation that when she has something to announce, social media is her chosen platform.
After unveiling wildly popular lip glosses, Kylie now is returning to matte with metallic shades. Jenner plans to offer the three glosses and matte liquid lipsticks again after restocking them, and the launch of the latest shades is expected soon.
But while all is good in terms of her entrepreneurial and social media successes, Kylie isn’t quite so content when it comes to her family and her relationship with her boyfriend Tyga, who congratulated his former girlfriend, Blac Chyna, and Jenner’s brother, Rob Kardashian, on getting engaged, thereby making Kylie irate, according to In Touch Weekly.
After Rob proposed to Blac, who has a 3-year-old son, King Cairo, with Tyga, most of his family did not respond. However, Tyga tweeted his happiness for the couple.
“It makes me happy to see the mother of my son happy,” posted Tyga.
Kylie then got riled up because she allegedly had warned him to avoid making any public comments. But Jenner isn’t dumping Tyga.
“Kylie’s biggest motivation is to get one up on Tyga’s baby mama, but her friends think she’s crazy to even consider it,” revealed the insider.
As for how Tyga’s friends feel?
“Tyga’s got no money, his last album flopped and he’s always getting into trouble with other women, but Kylie’s decided it’s time to force his hand,” said one of Tyga’s pals.
Moreover, Jenner is at the point of issuing an ultimatum: Either the rapper propose, or Kylie will move on.
“She feels she’s invested a hell of a lot in him and that it’s time he made things formal or moved on,” added the insider.
But if a new report is true, Jenner may have another reason for pressuring her boyfriend to marry her. Life & Style Weekly quotes a source as claiming that Kylie is pregnant with Tyga’s baby.
Jenner is supposedly even having cravings and has gained weight.
“All [Kylie] can talk about is baby names, whether she’ll have a boy or a girl, how she’s going to decorate the nursery and the child’s wardrobe,” added the source.
But as far as her family goes, this insider describes Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian as concerned that Jenner is making a major mistake. Kylie’s mother Kris Jenner allegedly was not shocked, but is “not exactly thrilled,” claims the insider.
Amid those rumors of a baby and an impending wedding, Kylie is teaming up with her sister, Kendall Jenner, to roll out a handbag line, according to People.
Jenner seemed to throw some shade at Blac Chyna while showing off her outfit, however, in her caption.
While her fans speculate about that caption, Jenner is looking forward to her growing empire of products. Set to debut this fall, the Kendall + Kylie line will expand to feature the handbags in 18 different styles. Prices will run from $75 to $450 and sell at upscale shops including Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue.
