Adam Levine & Behati Prinsloo Are Having A Baby, But Will He Quit ‘The Voice? Rumors Surface

Will Adam Levine’s first child with wife Behati Prinsloo lead the Maroon 5 singer to quit The Voice after Season 10? Even before Prinsloo’s pregnancy was mentioned, sources claimed Adam Levine was ready to take a step back from the hit NBC series and focus on starting a family.

“Adam has had enough of The Voice,” a source close to Adam Levine told Life & Style magazine, via Hollywood Life earlier this month.

Adam Levine rejoined his co-stars, including Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, and Pharrell Williams, for the 10th season of the show last month. However, according to the magazine source, Season 10 was expected to be his “final season.”

Adam Levine and his wife, Prinsloo, “really want to start a family,” the source told Life & Style.

In 2015, noted Hollywood Life, Adam Levine spoke of his future family, claiming he and wife Prinsloo were expecting to welcome their first child “soon.”

The source went on to reveal that while Adam Levine’s plans for a family with Prinsloo were the leading factor in his alleged decision to quit The Voice after Season 10, the singer was also said to be concerned about staying with the series for too long if it isn’t headed in the right direction.

“He doesn’t want to stick around until the show is in decline,” the source explained to Life & Style.

That said, if Adam Levine did, in fact, leave his coaching role on the show, the magazine source said he could come back during a later season as a mentor.

Although quitting his Los Angeles gig to be with wife Prinsloo, who lives in New York City full-time, doesn’t seem too far-fetched, a second report claimed Adam Levine has no plans to leave the show, as his schedule with NBC is quite flexible and doesn’t require year-round filming.

“[Adam Levine] would stay with The Voice and will stay with The Voice even if he becomes a father,” an insider told Hollywood Life last week. “The amount of time he would have to be away really wouldn’t be that much. He could easily do both. The Voice schedule would offer no neglect to family duties and he would be able to do it because The Voice would be accommodating to all of his needs. They would all be able to work out a proper schedule to make it all work out.”

On March 17, Just Jared reported news of Adam Levine’s first post-pregnancy announcement appearance, which took place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where he hit the red carpet for the launch of his Adam Levine x John John Denim Collection.

Unfortunately, Adam Levine did not speak of his wife’s pregnancy during his appearance.

Us Weekly was first to reveal news of Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo’s baby news, claiming on March 10 that he was “over the moon” to be starting a family. The magazine also noted that the news had been confirmed by multiple sources and noted that Prinsloo was three to four months along.

Prior to the announcement, Adam Levine appeared to hint at his wife’s pregnancy, when he took to Twitter and shared a photo of several bibs hanging on a clothes line. However, because he told fans the bibs were a new addition to his band’s collection, not many thought anything of it at the time.
