Madonna Tries A New Tactic To Win Custody Of Son Rocco

Madonna is reportedly changing her tune in the custody battle for her and director Guy Ritchie’s son Rocco before the big court hearing on Wednesday, according to TMZ.

Madonna and Ritchie have been involved in a rather aggressive legal battle over their 15-year-old son for the past couple of months while Rocco is living in London with Ritchie and his model wife Jacqui Ainsley, as well as their three children.

But Madonna cannot stand the fact that her son is living with her ex-husband and her ex-husband’s wife. And it seems that Madonna, who is currently on her Rebel Heart world tour, is changing up her strategy in the custody battle to win back her beloved son.

According to TMZ, Madonna was originally prepared to throw mud at Ritchie and “trash” his parenting skills in the Manhattan Supreme Court, since the “Like A Virgin” singer believes her ex-husband is way too liberal for her son.

But now, according to the same source, Madonna has decided to change her tune and spread her “undying love” for her teenage son all over social media. It seems the plan is for Madonna to try to influence the judge’s order by constantly showing her motherly love for the son.

The anonymous source familiar with the court battle also said that it’s in Madonna’s nature that she “always has to be right.”

“She and Guy have disagreed on every [child rearing] decision they talk about, and it’s made her feel like he’s a bad parent.”

A couple of weeks ago, Madonna shared a nostalgic photo of herself and baby Rocco, writing in the caption “Tu me manque [sic],” translated as “I miss you.”

Although some of Madonna’s French fans noted that their favorite singer misspelled the word “manques,” most of her other fans voiced their support for the singer.

Rocco started living with his father after becoming tired of constantly being on tour with his mother Madonna. Rocco was even supposed to spend Christmas 2015 with Madonna, but he didn’t arrive in New York, where the singer is based, at all.

In December 2015, Madonna even went to the court to try to convince the judge that Rocco has to return home for the Christmas. However, Ritchie’s lawyer, Eric Buckley, pointed out during the hearing that the teenage boy had “expressed very clearly” that he didn’t want to be with his mother.

Rocco’s reluctance to live with Madonna apparently comes after the legendary singer had posted a number of photos and videos featuring him that could have embarrassed her son. On Christmas Day, Ritchie shared via social media a photo of his wife’s wedding day with Rocco being happy by her side.

Madonna responded with a number of photos featuring her daughters Lourdes, 19, and Mercy James, 9, as well as son David Banda, 10, who spent Christmas with her in New York.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s hearing is due to proceed on Wednesday.

Apparently, you don’t have to be a professional dancer in Madonna’s entourage or a VIP to dance with Madonna on stage, according to Mashable. During one of the singer’s performance in Singapore on her world tour, Hamzah Alsagoff became famous all over social media after he had been picked to join Madonna on stage.

Hamzah Alsagoff, 35, explained on Facebook how he managed to catch the eye of Madonna’s team to join the “Like A Virgin” singer for her final dance. So Alsagoff’s secret was in his outfit: the public relations executive wore a T-shirt that said, “I was straight until Madonna saved me.”

Alsagoff also noted that the crowd marshals were “too intimidated” to stop him, as he was crawling on the rows of seats “careful not to squash the Chanel 2.55s that littered within VIP.”
