The Oscars 2016 ceremony and parties offered opportunities for the entertainment industry’s hottest couples to sizzle, as well as offering up at least one reunion that almost broke the internet. From the first red carpet debut of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton to the reunited Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet to Lady Gaga and her fiance Taylor Kinney, it was an occasion for celebrity watchers to count the ways in which couples stood out.
Perhaps the Oscars couple sighting that most thrilled? Leonardo and Kate, reported Today. They were a couple who thrilled viewers in Titanic, but there was nothing fictional about the chemistry between DiCaprio and Winslet at the Academy Awards Sunday night. The platonic pals posed on the Oscars red carpet, and magic happened.

In addition, the couple captivated as Leo finally took home the Best Actor award after getting nominated numerous times for an Oscar since his first recognition at age 19 for What’s Eating Gilbert Grape.
Winslet didn’t even try to hold back her tears of joy at her friend’s win.

For years, the couple have maintained their friendship in an industry where competition sometimes trumps relationships. But Kate admitted previously that she was hopeful that her friend DiCaprio would take home the Oscar at last.
“It does really feel as though it’s Leo’s year… I keep getting emotional when I talk about Leo,” admitted Winslet.
But they weren’t the only Oscars couple to delight celebrity watchers. Lady Gaga and fiance Taylor Kinney turned the occasion into a prelude to a date night, reported People.
The couple showed their consideration for each other as Gaga completed her interviews while Kinney stayed by her side faithfully. In addition to walking the red carpet and attending the ceremony together, they went to a party prior to the Oscars.
Just in case anyone missed the fact that they’re engaged, Gaga happily turned to Instagram to share a photo of the couple with her engagement ring prominently displayed.
While Kate and Leo and Gaga and Taylor have appeared before as couples at such events, it was the red carpet debut for country crooner Blake Shelton and his pop star singer girlfriend Gwen Stefani.
Not hesitating to reveal her fabulous figure, Gwen chose a barely-there, nearly-sheer Yanina Couture gown, reported MSN.
The couple happily headed off to the Vanity Fair Oscar party for a date to remember. And while Stefani chose to sizzle for the event, with a Jimmy Choo clutch as her accessory, Shelton stayed true to his down-home style with jeans, cowboy boots, and a blazer.
Other couples who delighted fans at the Oscars were pregnant Anne Hathaway and her husband, Adam Shulman, reported E! News.
A former Academy Oscar winner, Anne is thrilled to become a mother for the first time. She chose a black and gold gown to couple up with Adam.
Another husband and wife were Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake. The couple charmed at the Oscars red carpet, with Jessica stunning in a grey frock and metallic bodice accompanied by Justin sporting a tuxedo.
