Country singer Kellie Pickler saluted the troops this week for a cover shoot and photo spread for Maxim’s “Salute to the Military” issue.
Wearing classic lingerie inspired by Jean Paul Gaultier, Prada and Hervé Léger the American Idol singer turned country star can be seen holding onto a military jacket on the front page of the publication and then laying in the arms of four military men inside the men’s magazines pages.
Speaking to the magazine Kellie Pickler says it was the first time she has publicly revealed her tattoos:
“My grandmother would be mortiﬁed if she knew I had these. She’s passed away now, bu t she would say, ‘Tattoos are the devil!’ So my ﬁrst tattoo, of course, was my grandma’s name. I also have stars on my left arm for my USO tours, but I’m missing two.”
Kellie Pickler who is married also shares some advice with guys looking to date a good old fashions country girl:
“We might be [trouble], but we can also con our way out of it,” she jokes. “A country girl can talk her way out of a ticket. Not that I’ve ever been pulled over …”
