Justin Bieber Covers Up Selena Gomez Tattoo ‘To Please Jealous Hailey Baldwin’

Hailey Baldwin is rumored to have pressured Justin Bieber into getting the tattoo of Selena Gomez removed amid reports the former couple are back on speaking terms.

While the model’s relationship to the “Sorry” hitmaker was confirmed earlier this year, sources allege that Hailey is having doubts about being able to make the romance work — especially with Selena still in the picture.

In a recent interview with GQ magazine, Bieber famously admitted to having tried to cover up the tattoo of his ex on his wrist. Following their breakup, Justin added some additional shading to the tattoo in the hopes that his fans wouldn’t be able to recognize Selena on his arm anymore.

With that in mind, according to CelebDirtyLaundry, Hailey Baldwin wouldn’t have wanted to constantly be reminded of Selena every time she looked at Justin’s wrist. Though they were never friends to begin with, the source gives the impression that the 19-year-old doesn’t like Selena, who is known to have had a complicated relationship with Bieber in the past.

Hailey is aware of the fact that Selena and Justin had an on-again, off-again tie-up for several years. After having rekindled their romance over the summer of 2015, the duo decided to part ways for good in September — up until the former couple ran into each other at the Grammys earlier this week, sparking the idea of a possible reunion.

While Baldwin may have allegedly tried to remove Selena from the picture entirely, the fact that Justin is constantly being reminded by his ex-girlfriend in other ways than just his tattoo more or less has fans believing there’s still a chance for the twosome to get back together after all.

“Even though they didn’t hang out at the show, she wanted to let him know how proud she was of him,” a source explained when recalling Selena’s reaction to Justin’s Grammy win. “She knew how important winning a Grammy was for him and how it had always been a dream of his. When she saw him she gave him a big hug and congratulated him.”

It was said to have been the first time that the duo had seen each other since their split five months ago, which is also the longest time Justin and Selena have been apart without having reconciled.

With that being said, it is unclear whether Gomez would even consider the idea of getting back together with Justin, considering all the heartbreak and suffering he reportedly put her through. The 23-year-old infamously checked herself into rehab in 2014 at a facility that strictly focuses their attention on young people struggling with addiction and trauma.

But even if the two decide to be nothing more than friends in the future, chances of Hailey Baldwin remaining to be Justin Bieber’s girlfriend are becoming rather slim, for — as sources have already stated — the pop star doesn’t seem to share that same connection with her the way he did with Gomez.

Bieber is currently gearing up to kick off his anticipated Purpose World Tour, which will commence in early March in Seattle, Washington. While relationship drama can be handled some other time, the singer is solely focused on making the concert tour his best yet.
