Gizelle Bryant Says ‘Real Housewives’ Drama Queen Label Comes Down To Opinion

The Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant seems to be stealing the show. The show is only two episodes in and Gizelle is already stealing the show with her outrageous comments and the drama with her co-stars. According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant is now revealing why she’s making so many headlines and why she’s being labeled as the drama queen.

“You know, I am — and the other ladies as well — we’re all extremely opinionated, and we stand by our opinion fiercely. So you know, it’s a little bit of holding my own to Karen [Huger], holding my own to Charrisse [Jackson Jordan] and being highly opinionated about what I feel is right and what happened. I think that right now what we have seen thus far is just a little bit of miscommunication on everyone’s part. So hopefully, we can get past it sooner rather than later,” Bryant revealed to The Daily Dish.

Despite only being on air for two episodes, Gizelle Bryant is already ruffling the feathers of her co-stars over Potomac etiquette, causing a loud disturbance at her friend’s house before a party, and her “THOT” comment about Ashley Darby. Despite her comments, Bryant doesn’t think she’s a hard person to get along with. She’s been friends with her Real Housewives of Potomac for years, and she’s surprised that they are all calling her the troublemaker.

“We’ve all been asked together who’s the troublemaker, and they all pointed to me, which was not nice and poor etiquette. But I can say that I might. I might stir the pot every now and again, yes. I have to admit, yes, every now and again. But when I say I stir the pot, I try to orchestrate situations in which there is a problem, it can be resolved. So if you want to call that stirring the pot, then I’m gonna get a big spoon, and I’m gonna get to stirring,” Gizelle Bryant reveals about who is the biggest troublemaker in the group and being in the lead.

Of course, Charrisse and Karen appear to be very upset with Gizelle from the first episode. The two women are not pleased with her behavior. Charrisse threatened to throw Gizelle out of her home prior to a party, because she came upstairs while she was getting ready. Karen was upset with Gizelle because of the way she handled things. When she tried to settle the drama with her co-stars, it didn’t go well. Gizelle tried to apologize to Charrisse and Karen, but it didn’t go so well either.

“Was I surprised? Are you kidding me? Had I known that it would have gone so horribly so fast, I would have never done it. It was like the worst of all situations. First of all, I didn’t think they were going to come in upset. I thought they were going to come in, you know, not necessarily happy, but at least on an even playing field. They came in mad. So I was trying to dig myself out of a hole that I didn’t even know I was in. And it was difficult, but it allowed me to understand where they were, which was the only thing that came out of the whole thing,” Gizelle Bryant reveals to The Daily Dish.

Ashley Darby RHOP

Gizelle says things that could get her into trouble. For example, she called Ashley Darby a THOT, which translates to “that h** over there.” She later clarified that she said Ashley was acting THOT-ish, not that she was THOT. While she clarified the comment, she continues the comment in later episodes. According to Us Weekly, Bryant calls Ashley’s behavior h**-ish.
