Adele Due to Give Birth in September
The world was shocked when Adele, who’s usually singing about love lost, announced in June on her personal website that she’s expecting a baby with boyfriend Simon Knoecki. Now it’s said that the singer isn’t far away from giving birth, and is said to be due in another two months.
Adele, who is said to have kept her pregnancy under wraps is said to have her baby in September, at least according to Heat, which means the soul singer was six months pregnant when she decided to announce her joy about the pregnancy. Perhaps it’s Adele’s low profile that helped her conceal the pregnancy, because if it was anyone else, the signs would be more than obvious. She didn’t fly from her home in the UK to the United States for the Billboard Awards this past May even though the singer was nominated for 12 awards.
When Adele arrived in London for the Ivor Novello Awards a week after the Billboard awards she wore a very loose fitted black dress to conceal the baby bump. During that awards show she snuck into the ceremony late and completely skipped the red carpet, which she usually doesn’t do.
According to Heat magazine, a source has said about the hidden pregnancy, “Adele has barely left the house in recent months, so she could keep this to herself for as long as possible. She stopped exercising a few months ago, and since then it’s been all about the baby.’
On her site she back in June Adele wrote, “Im delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx.”
Adele’s rep said he had “no more information” on Adele’s pregnancy.
