Kim Kardashian Dubbed Herself ‘Princess Kim’ Amid Sex Tape Scandal: Now ‘KUWTK’ Queen & Hillary Clinton Take Selfies

Kim Kardashian isn’t just the head diva of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians clan. Although it’s momager Kris Jenner who usually gets credited for orchestrating the lives of Kim and her sisters, Kim claims that behind the scenes, the 35-year-old mom of two and wife of Kanye West is also the one who pulls the strings, reported Cosmopolitan.

“It’s so funny, because I’ll hear stories like, ‘Kris Jenner is the puppet master, having all of her kids do this and that,’ and I’m like, ‘If they only knew.’ I’m the one that will be like, ‘Kylie, do this. Kendall, you should do this,'” shared Kim.

Kardashian recently invested in her own app and website and contends that she took that step because she felt annoyed that magazine interviews were inaccurate or didn’t do her justice.

“I did want my own avenue to tell my story, to show my fashion pics, to offer my beauty tips, my secrets. I was doing so many interviews with so many different magazines, and I would find that it wouldn’t be written right or maybe the product was off or I didn’t feel it was truly representing me,” explained Kim.

It’s a dramatic change from when Kardashian first started her rise to fame. When the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star initially began her career, Kim dubbed herself “Princess Kim” and denied the existence of that infamous sex tape, reported Us Weekly.

It all happened in her first magazine cover shoot in 2007, in which Princess Kim informed the world that she considered her bed skills to be “20, on a scale of one to ten.”

Moreover, Kardashian insisted that she worked hard for her money, denying the impression that the Kardashian kids had an easy life.

“[The biggest misconception is] that we’re all trust-fund kids and we have it so easy,” complained Kim. “I know people think we drive around in these nice cars and we do whatever we want and our parents will pay our credit cards, but that’s not the case. Sure my parents were generous; I got a nice car at 16, but at 19 I was cut off. I’ve worked really hard.”

Kardashian also then described herself as an outdoor sports lover, claiming that skiing and skydiving were top on her list of passions. And Kim boasted about famous pals.

“I remember, I used to tell one of my really good friends, Brandy — the singer Brandy — you know she has every purse and shoe and every outfit. I’d be like, ‘Let’s not buy a $5,000 bag for once and let’s go on vacation,” recalled Kardashian.

The KUWTK star also tried to deny the existence of a sex tape, with Ray J (her former boyfriend) as her partner. It was not until Kardashian learned that the world knew that the sex tape was real that she admitted the truth.

“My dad would’ve been mortified and I’m not happy about it,” confessed Kim regarding the sex tape scandal. “You know, I thought I was gonna marry this guy [Ray J]; we were in a three-year relationship. I didn’t think that our personal business would be for the world to see, and frankly it was so many years ago and there were so many different vacations that we’ve gone on that were taped that are all being meshed together to this one tape that they made.”

But that was then, and now Kardashian is holding her head high in her promotion from Princess Kim to Queen Bee of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians clan. And just to confirm the heights to which she’s risen since her sex tape scandal days, Kim shared her selfies taken with Hillary Clinton, reported People.

Kardashian also gave Clinton the secrets of her perfect selfies, and Hillary dished on what she learned during an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show. Clinton met Kim and Kanye during a fundraiser.

“She has that face. She always has the same selfie face,” Ellen commented to Hillary. “Did you learn? Do you have a selfie face now?”

Hillary revealed that when Kim asked to take a selfie, she discovered the secret’s in the phone.

“[Kim] takes out her phone and she presses the button – I’ve never seen this anywhere else … She pulls it out, it has lights all the way around it, like, little tiny, tiny lightbulbs,” recalled Clinton.

Admitting that she longed for a phone like Kardashian’s gadget, Hillary’s wish was fulfilled by the reality TV star on Twitter.
