Miranda Lambert Lost Friends After Divorce, Hooks Up With Country Star

Miranda Lambert has reportedly lost friends after her divorce from Blake Shelton. As Shelton continues his relationship with Gwen Stefani, with whom he recently starred on The Voice, a report claims Miranda Lambert has been left with fewer friends after splitting from her fellow country star.

Miranda Lambert and Shelton announced they were divorcing in July of this year after a four-year marriage, and months later, Shelton was in a new relationship. Meanwhile, Miranda Lambert has seemed to remain single, and is said to be “upset” after he and his new lady attended the engagement party of one of their mutual friends.

“[Miranda Lambert] is upset that Blake is now showing off Gwen to all their old friends in Tennessee,” a source told Hollywood Life on December 22.

“He’s the one in the new relationship, yet he’s also the one keeping their old friends. [Miranda Lambert] is close to Raelynn Woodward, but there is no way in hell she was going to the same engagement party as Blake and Gwen,” the source added.

Since their split, Miranda Lambert has kept a low profile, choosing to steer clear of any public romances, and focus solely on her friends, family, and career, and recently, she tweeted about her upcoming tour with another country singer.

In addition to Chesney, Miranda Lambert will be joined on her 2016 tour by Sam Hunt, whom she’s been linked to romantically since October. While there hasn’t been any physical proof or photos of the alleged couple, OK! Magazine claimed in early October that Miranda Lambert had grown close to Hunt, and loved the way he made her feel.

“[Miranda Lambert] and Sam can’t help but flirt,” a source told the magazine, via Celebrity Dirty Laundry. “Spending time with Sam has been a huge lift for Miranda. They are getting very close, he makes her feel sexy and that is exactly what [Miranda Lambert] needs right now.”

At the time, OK! Magazine‘s source told the publication that fans shouldn’t expect Miranda Lambert and Hunt to go public with their alleged new romance, since the rumored couple was “trying to keep things quiet for now.”

As she heads into the holidays, Miranda Lambert’s spirits are high, despite any ill feelings towards any friends lost in her divorce.

“I love, love, love holidays,” Miranda Lambert revealed to Nashville Gab, via US 99.5. “It’s my time to really be a girl. I grew up, you know, with all the decorations and cookin’, and I get really domestic during holidays. And it’s kind of weird ’cause it’s so opposite of who I am on stage.”

In addition to Miranda Lambert’s feelings about Raelynn Woodward, she is reportedly hurt by her ex-husband’s non-stop PDA with Stefani, as well. According to a separate report by Hollywood Life, Miranda Lambert is “not ready” to see her former partner so happy with another woman.

Around the same time Miranda Lambert’s ex and his new girlfriend attended Woodward’s engagement party, they posed for a couple of lovey-dovey photos, which were later shared on Twitter. The couple has also been extremely open with their romance for the last several weeks on The Voice Season 9, which wrapped filming last Tuesday, and while out and about in Los Angeles.

Miranda Lambert’s 2016 tour kicks off in March and will take the country singer to a number of different countries, including Ireland, England, and Scotland.
