‘Teen Mom OG’ Drama Erupts Over Amber Portwood And Matt Baier’s Private Life

Teen Mom OG secrets just keep coming out. It was announced just two weeks ago that the show would be returning in January, complete with a trailer to get fans riled up. Amber Portwood made headlines last year when she introduced Matt Baier on Teen Mom OG. The two had been dating, and Baier proposed to Portwood last November. Fans watched as the two had a violent encounter during a trip to Las Vegas, and it was less than pleasant to watch. Portwood has announced she will be getting married in 2016, and it doesn’t look like those plans have changed.

Amber Portwood is one of the four original Teen Mom girls. The last few years have been incredibly hard on her. From giving birth to a daughter as a teen to serving time in prison for drug-related offenses, Portwood has beat the odds. Teen Mom OG has been chronicling her life as a changed woman, and some fans are worried about where she is headed. According to the Ashley, there has been confirmation that Portwood’s fiance Matt Baier has fathered seven children and is also a grandfather. Several of his children are adult age, but the youngest being reported is just 5-years-old. Does this mean that the Teen Mom OG star had no clue about his obligations before agreeing to marry him?

Of course, being on the defense is where Amber Portwood is currently hanging out. After the reports were confirmed, Portwood has been getting a lot of comments on social media. The Teen Mom OG trailer showed Gary Shirley talking to his lawyer about the situation with Matt Baier. Clearly, Shirley knew more about him than his girlfriend did at that point. It is currently unclear how long Baier kept his children and grandchildren hidden from Portwood. Right now, it appears the subject is off limits for the two.

When Teen Mom OG begins airing, there will be more information on what the legal situation is between Amber Portwood and Gary Shirley. There are currently talks about getting a joint custody agreement, which is where Matt Baier came into play during the trailer. Right now, there are five active cases for child support in Indiana for Baier, and now Portwood will be in family court for her child too. It doesn’t seem to be phasing her at all. Leah is her number one priority and has been since being released from prison two years ago.

According to Us Weekly, the Teen Mom OG clip of Gary Shirley talking about Matt Baier has Amber Portwood upset. It appears she did know about his children but didn’t think the world needed to know about them. Actually, no one had a clue until it was released on the Teen Mom OG trailer one week ago. Immediately, people were talking, but Portwood did not think it would go as far as it has. She has decided to stand by her man through all of the drama. She loves him, and even if he had 10 kids, she would remain by his side.

Fans of Teen Mom OG are interested to see how things play out between Matt Baier and Amber Portwood this season. Watching them get violent last season was enough to turn anyone off, but Portwood stuck around. There is quite an age gap between the two, but that doesn’t seem to affect their relationship. It is unclear whether or not the two plan to have more children, especially since Baier already has seven of his own. In fact, his oldest is just a few years younger than Portwood. Teen Mom OG fans are hoping this will be addressed during the upcoming season.
