Miranda Lambert Dating Sam Hunt? He Will Join Blake Shelton On ‘The Voice’

Miranda Lambert and Sam Hunt have been linked romantically for the last couple of months, and in an odd twist, Hunt will soon be joining Miranda Lambert’s ex-husband, Blake Shelton, on the set of The Voice, which also stars Shelton’s new girlfriend, Gwen Stefani.

On December 10, Taste of Country revealed news of Hunt’s upcoming performance, which is scheduled for Tuesday, December 15, on the Season 9 finale of The Voice alongside other performers, including Justin Bieber, Missy Elliott, the Weeknd, and Coldplay.

As soon as Miranda Lambert’s 2016 tour with Hunt was announced earlier this year, rumors began swirling in regard to their romance, with an OK! Magazine source, via Celeb Dirty Laundry, claiming the two couldn’t help but flirt with one another as they prepared for their upcoming shows in the United States, Scotland, Ireland, and England. The source also told the magazine that Hunt, who was making Miranda Lambert feel sexy again, was just what she needed months after her divorce from Shelton. (In July, after four years of marriage, Miranda Lambert and her then-husband announced they were parting ways.)

After OK! Magazine’s report hit the web in October, rumors began to fade. However, earlier this month, a new report surfaced, claiming Miranda Lambert and Hunt were still very much involved, and enjoying getting to know each other better ahead of their highly anticipated tour.

“They don’t go on tour together until early next year, but that hasn’t stopped [Miranda Lambert] and Sam from texting each other pretty much non-stop for the last couple of weeks,” a source told Hollywood Life on December 9. “They have developed a solid friendship and love flirting with each other.”

“[Miranda Lambert] was basically the first person to congratulate Sam on his Grammy nomination for Best Album and Best New Artist. She also made big to do about his birthday on Dec. 8. It’s pretty obvious that the feelings are mutual and that they both have crushes on each other.”

While Miranda Lambert and Hunt have remained silent on the dating rumors, Hunt spoke of Miranda Lambert just weeks prior, weighing in on her recent divorce and explaining how it may help her career.

“I don’t know. I know when I’m going through stuff, my songwriting gets better so I think that will add up with [Miranda Lambert] too,” Hunt explained to TMZ in September.

As Miranda Lambert’s romance with Hunt continues to be a hot topic, her ex-husband’s relationship with Stefani is doing the same. In addition to their flirty behavior on The Voice, the new pair haven’t shied away from the Hollywood scene and were recently spotted enjoying a date in Studio City, California, where they were photographed kissing and getting cozy.

According to an E! News report earlier this week, Miranda Lambert’s ex and his new leading lady visited the Casa Vega Mexican restaurant on Tuesday after filming a live episode of The Voice. During their visit, Shelton and Stefani looked to be in “high spirits” and spent about an hour at the venue with friends. Then, while waiting for their car, the couple was said to be kissing.

“They were sitting at the bar and were very affectionate during dinner,” the source noted of Stefani and Miranda Lambert’s ex-husband. “He had his arm around her, [and] they had margaritas. After dinner they left together and went to her house.”

Miranda Lambert’s new rumored boyfriend, Hunt, will appear on The Voice on Tuesday at 8 p.m. on NBC.
