Nick Stahl’s Wife Calls Off Search For Missing Actor

Actor Nick Stahl keeps disappearing. Is the one-time John Connor running from Terminators? Nope, just rehab and his wife who has decided to stop looking for him.

Boring back-story time.

32-year-old actor Nick Stahl has gone missing twice so far this year. Most recently, he entered a rehabilitation facility and was expected to stay roughly 30 days. He checked out early, against his doctor’s wishes, causing much concern to his family and friends, reports MTV. A few days ago, Stahl’s estranged wife, Rose Murphy Stahl, said that no one had seen or heard from him in four days and that she didn’t want to comment any further on the matter.

E! reported that Stahl was staying with a friend after his early rehab check-out, and was seen poking around downtown Los Angeles a bit afterwards. He hasn’t been seen since Thursday.

“Now he’s disappeared. We can’t find him anywhere. He has not made contact with anyone. We are all just desperately looking for him,” said a source. So far it’s been pretty futile. “Everyone just wants him to come home,” the source added. “It’s a terrible situation. We are searching, but we’ve had no solid leads.”

Now Stahl’s estranged wife is calling it quits on the search.

Rose Murphy Stahl told TMZ that she will discontinue her search for her troubled husband, and that she won’t be involving the police this time around. “I’m backing off,” she said, adding, “He knows exactly where home is. It’s the loving thing to do for him, myself and our daughter.”

Here’s hoping nothing unfortunate happened to the poor guy.
