Molly Sims Gives Birth to Baby Boy

Actress Molly Sims is now at mom at the age of 39, after giving birth to a healthy baby boy in Los Angeles.

Molly Sims and husband Scott Stuber, 43, welcomed the child into their family Tuesday, a rep has confirmed to press. But the pair are being a bit quiet about their new baby’s vital stats, saying that the baby weighed in at just over 7 lbs., but not providing a name or other details about the sprog.

Molly Sims was spotted out at Hollywood events as recently as June 8th, and has expressed her excitement at becoming a mom for the first time. Back in April, she discussed her apprehension about labor and delivery, but like many new moms, also was more excited to meet the baby than she was scared of how he would come into the world:

“I am a little nervous about the delivery and breastfeeding… I hope I can do it, I hope we come through. I am so excited to meet him and just hold his hand.”

In May, model and actress Sims spoke about preparing for the baby’s arrival, both with classes and decorating a nursery. Of the former, Molly was a bit worried:

“We did our first birthing class the other day… I swear to god I thought he was going to faint!”

But of the latter, Sims was more upbeat:

“It’s kind of bohemian, modern chic… We have made it so cool. I’m so happy. It’s my favorite room!”

A friend of Molly Sims says the couple “both couldn’t be happier.”
