Have Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez Reunited? Major PDA In New ‘My Girl’ Videos

Is Jelena back?

Two new videos of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez affectionately hugging each other and slow dancing in the bar of a luxury hotel after he serenaded her with the Temptations’ classic, “My Girl,” and his own hit, “Sorry,” presents the case for the “ayes.”

Other guests spotted the ex-sweethearts hanging out at the Montage Beverly Hills Hotel in California on Friday, November 20.

The first new clip of Justin and Selena popped up on Twitter on Saturday, one day after an eyewitness at the Montage shared three videos and a photo of the Canadian singer and the Latina actress-singer. More on that below.

Twitter user Paris Orfaloaf posted the most recent video, captioning it, “My cousin was sitting a few tables away from Justin and Selena and she sent this video of him singing to her.”

In the video, the Biebs is seen delighting his former girlfriend with his “My Girl” rendition, while she sits by a fire in Montage’s bar and a lounge singer looks on. At the end of the song, Selena firmly pulls Justin towards her.

Responding immediately, the 21-year-old heartthrob held the Disney alum’s right hand. He then gently kissed her head and hugged her while stroking her back.

It’s an adorable moment, and indicates that behind the scenes and away from gossip headlines — many of which are fictional — and the chatter of fans and the Internet, the former couple are close.

Hours after Justin and Selena met up at the Montage, eyewitness photographer Lindsey Cavanaugh of Eat Pray Photo posted the aforementioned Instavids and a group photo of her and her friends with the Biebs on Friday.

“When you’re having a drink at an empty hotel bar and @justinbieber appears out of nowhere and begins to sing on the piano. #LOSINGMYS—,” Cavanaugh captioned one video showing Justin singing his new hit “Sorry.”

Alongside a clip of the hitmaker crooning “My Girl” to SelGo, the photographer noted, “@justinbieber singing my girl to @selenagomez….is this real? Pure magic.”

A third video followed. Cavanaugh wrote, “Does anyone have a drool cloth I can borrow? @justinbieber @selenagomez.”

Details rolled out after the photographer spoke to media outlets. “Justin was playing ‘Sorry’ on the piano before he walked over and sat down at the table where my friends and I were sitting,” Cavanaugh shared to Cosmopolitan magazine. “He was talking to us about life and music. He was so down to earth and such a nice guy — and then Selena came.”

She continued, “When she [Selena Gomez] got there they looked so happy to see each other. They talked for a little bit, and then he sang ‘My Girl’ to her. It was amazing.”

To E! News, Cavanaugh said when that Bieber chatted with her and her pals, they asked him what he was doing at the bar. She said he replied he was, “meeting up with his ex.”

She told E! that after Selena arrived at the hotel alone, she and the Biebs chatted together on their own sofa, then later dancing together in front of the piano while a lounge singer sang Lionel Richie’s “Easy.”

“They were honestly mesmerizing to watch slow dance,” Cavanaugh said. “My business partner gave him the thumbs up and he gave it back to her and laughed, then dipped Selena all the way to the floor.”

She added, “Shortly after that, she sat on the table and he somehow started singing ‘My Girl.’ She [Selena] was smiling and in that moment, didn’t look like Selena Gomez — rather a girl at a bar being doted on by her first love.”

Recalling the group photo moment, which Gomez took, the photographer said of Selena. “She was bubbly and sweet, shouted ‘one more!’ and then we were on our way.”

Here’s that snap. The caption reads, “Photo cred: @selenagomez. He asked to sit at our table to chat, so impressed by the kindness (and realness!) of this guy tonight. Now a #belieber.”

After their hotel hang, Justin and Selena took a stroll around Beverly Hills, seemingly unaware that they were being videoed and papped.

The footage was posted by TMZ. Original pictures were published by the Daily Mail.

To Refinery29, Cavanaugh dished on Bieber’s nerves when he first arrived at the hotel and began talking to her group.

“He mentioned he was waiting for his ex-girlfriend and was excited [and] nervous, we all threw out the ‘man we’ve all been there’ kind of thing and tried to just talk normally — if that’s even a thing,” she wrote in an email to the magazine.

Refinery29 adds, “Cavanaugh said Gomez was smiling and laughing the entire time.”

Then, on Sunday, a very blurry video of Justin and Selena slow dancing surfaced online. Take a look.

After Bieber and Gomez parted for the evening, he went on to party at the Nice Guy and Hyde nightclub in West Hollywood with pals including the rapper A$AP, model Hailey Baldwin, and the reality star Kylie Jenner. Justin reportedly left the club separately after singing hits from his No. 1 album, Purpose.

So, have Justin and Selena reunited, or even heading that way? The two first got together in 2010 after they were set up on a playdate by their respective managers, and enjoyed a seemingly idyllic courtship until their first breakup in late 2012. They split and made up numerous times before their most recent impasse at the end of September, 2014.

But, since then, while promoting their respective new albums (Gomez’s Revival and Bieber’s Purpose), both superstars have said they continue to love and support the other. The pair were seen at a church social in May this year, and hanging out poolside at the Montage in July.

For her part, back in December, 2014, while speaking by phone to Norway’s NJR radio, Selena said of her ex, “I definitely have so much respect and love for him.”

To the New York Times in September, Selena referred to criticism she faced over her relationship, before praising her former boyfriend’s career comeback, saying, “While people were writing that I was stupid for being in it, this is what I always saw in him. I’m like, duh!”

In Elle’s October cover story, Selena said that she will “forever support him and love him,” adding “I don’t know!” when she was asked about the possibility of reuniting with the Biebs.

Meanwhile, Bieber told Access Hollywood earlier this month that he still talked to “The Heart Wants What It Wants” songstress, and declared his continuing love for her.

“I’m never going to stop loving her. I’m never going to stop checking in on her,” he admitted. “We always respected each other and we still respect each other.” Elaborating, he added, “I think we both gotta do some soul searching ourselves, and figure out ourselves before we can just try to figure out each other.”

Days later, on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the comic-host managed to pry the titles of (at least) three songs on Purpose, which Justin admitted were inspired by Selena.

Those songs are “Mark My Words,” “Sorry,” and “What Do You Mean?” Lyrics to the first include, “But I won’t let me lose you / And I won’t let us just fade away / After all that we’ve been through / Imma show you more than I ever could say.”

Asked by DeGeneres whether he wanted or had hopes for a reconciliation with his ex, Justin replied, “We have a lot of history together so it could possibly happen.”

Mused, he added, “I think we’re both just on our own journeys, figuring ourselves out and once we’ve figured ourselves out we could maybe come together and make an awesome duo.”

Bieber and Gomez are both performing at tonight’s American Music Awards at the Microsoft Center in L.A. As reported, they are seated in separate sections of the front row. However, based on the Montage Hotel footage, it’s not going to be an awkward meet if they do speak at the event.

All in all, it’s very likely safe to say the ballad of Jelena has more bars left to play. And, since both are still in their early 20s and have both said they are focused on learning more about themselves and the world, it seems unwise to rule out the possibility of a reunion in the future — that is, if they haven’t already.

Love will out.
