Kim Kardashian Talks Scott Disick After The Lord Leaves Rehab: ‘He’ll Always Be In Our Lives’

One by one, members of the Kardashian family are starting to publicly forgive Scott Disick. Kim Kardashian is the most recent to express support for her older sister’s ex-boyfriend.

While talking to Ryan Seacrest on Friday, Kim told the radio personality that she and her family just want what’s best for Scott.

“Scott is family, too. He’ll always be in our lives so we want the best for him. He’s getting help and he’s been doing so good and that makes me happy too.”

Scott Disick is the former boyfriend of Kim Kardashian West’s older sister, Kourtney Kardashian. Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian were together for nearly a decade before they broke up earlier this summer after Disick was photographed cozying up with an ex-girlfriend, Chloe Bartoli, in the south of France.

Soon after the photos became public, Kourtney Kardashian told Scott to take a hike, and for a while seemed unsure of what to do about allowing Disick to see their children. Together, Kourtney and Scott have three kids: Mason, 5; Penelope, 3; and Reign, 11 months.

In talking with Ryan Seacrest, Kim Kardashian praised her sister Kourtney for staying strong and doing what is best for her children while raising them on her own.

“She is so strong. She’s raising the three kids. It’s really hard. Three kids, especially by yourself, has been an adjustment for her. You never thought this cycle would really end of Kourtney and Scott, which was kind of the same thing for 10 years.”

Rumors about Scott’s mental and physical state have run rampant since the 32-year-old split from his longtime girlfriend. Reports of benders and hookups abound — until last month, when Scott checked into rehab for the fourth time in the past year. In the past, Scott has publicly struggled with drug and alcohol abuse — both in the media and on KUWTK.

Scott has a history of quickly checking into and out of rehab, but reports indicate that this time the self-proclaimed lord stayed in the Malibu rehab facility for an entire month before he checked out on Wednesday.

In October, Kourtney’s mother Kris Jenner also defended Scott Disick, saying “love him, love him.” The famous momager told Access Hollywood at the time,

“He’s always gonna be a part of our family, you know. We love really hard and he’s the father of my grandchildren and we’re all, we all love Scott.”

The kind words were an about face from Jenner’s initial reaction after she saw Scott canoodling with Bartoli. During the season 10 finale of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kris Jenner can be seen calling Scott Disick a “piece of s–t.”

Since leaving rehab, Scott has been seen enjoying dinner with Kourtney Kardashian’s mom at Japanese restaurant Nobu in Malibu. The two reportedly spent about two hours at dinner, according to ET Online.

A source close to the Kardashian family told ET Online that the entire family is now supporting Scott’s rehabilitation efforts. A friendly dinner with the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch would seem to confirm those reports.

“The entire Kardashian family is supporting him throughout this, including Kourtney. He is doing really well. Everyone is hoping that his sobriety continues but he is looking great and feeling great.”

What do you think about Kim Kardashian’s recent comments about Scott Disick? Do you think the entire Kardashian family should support Disick’s rehab efforts? Why or why not?
