‘Halo 5’ Xbox One Bundle Vs Custom Modded Xbox One In ‘Halo 5’ Gear

Two Halo 5: Guardians-themed Xbox One consoles are dominating the internet right now. Forbes just reported that the Halo 5: Guardians Xbox One bundles are already shipping out one week before the actual release of the Halo 5 game, while another Halo 5 modded Xbox One has just popped out, maybe giving Microsoft’s Halo 5 a run for its money.

Those who preordered the Halo 5 Xbox One bundle through the online Xbox store, Best Buy, Amazon, Game Stop, or Walmart are reporting that they are starting to receive and unbox their brand new Halo 5 Xbox One bundles. One of the several customized Xbox One designs released by Microsoft this month, the Halo 5 Xbox One bundle was one of the more anticipated Xbox One designs with its innovative aesthetic and a growing following of the Halo 5.

One of the first people to go to the online community to show the Halo 5 Xbox One in the flesh is user MystBunny, who went to Reddit to post that his new Halo 5 Xbox One just arrived at work this week. While people are giving off mixed reactions about the new Halo 5-inspired Xbox One, some are saying that the Xbox One console is simply ugly despite the beautiful Halo 5 aesthetics, those who preordered are extremely excited about getting their new Xbox One. Halo fans especially would find showing off their Halo 5-inspired Xbox One to their fellow Halo 5 fans priceless.

The Limited Edition Halo 5: Guardians Xbox One bundle includes a 1TB customized console and wireless controllers, a full game download of Halo 5: Guardians, the Warzone REQ Bundle that includes 14 premium Requisition Packs, FOTUS-class armor and multiplayer emblem, a Guardian model by Metal Earth®, Halo: The Fall of Reach – Animated Series, Blue & Osiris team dossiers, and Spartan Locke’s Classified Orders.

To rival the official Halo 5 Xbox One, Vadu Amka, “Belgian purveyor of excellent custom consoles,” creates his first new-generation console mod.

“In partnership with Media Markt of Woluwe and the generous collaboration of Microsoft, I was honoured to work on this project. It was the first time I realised a custom on a current generation console. It will be a prize during their launching event, on October 26 at 8pm. Remember, the game will be out the next day! A very nice evening to look forward to.”

As seen from the photos uploaded of the modified Xbox One by Vadu Amka, although inspired by Halo 5: Guardians, the Xbox One appears rather rustic and grunge. Like the official Halo 5 Xbox One bundle from Microsoft, Amka’s modded Xbox One also received a generous amount of love and hate via Kotaku.

Some of the people who’ve seen the photos are commenting not on Amka’s design per se, but rather on the aesthetics of the Xbox One itself. Some are even commenting that Amka’s modded Xbox One is one “sexy VHS player.” While that’s saying something about Amka’s design, it definitely makes Xbox One a laughing stock.

People who are loving Amka’s design are also commenting on how detailed and how much effort Amka has put into the Halo 5-inspired Xbox One, unlike the official mods which they see as rather lazy.

Whichever Xbox One you prefer, boot up your consoles and get ready for the huge download coming to your systems this October 27. Halo 5: Guardians is releasing for Xbox One consoles all over the world — and did we mention there is no split-screen for this Halo 5?
