Andy Cohen Claims Vicki Gunvalson Shares ‘New Information’ About Brooks Ayers’ Cancer During The ‘RHOC’ Reunion

Andy Cohen will sit down with the women of The Real Housewives of Orange County tonight, October 19, for the highly-anticipated three-part reunion special for Season 10. Ahead of the sure-to-be dramatic new episode, he spoke with his assistant, Daryn Carp, about what fans can expect.

“I was very happy. I believe we have three parts, and the headline is the revelations that came out,” Andy Cohen told Carp of his thoughts after filming. “There is a big revelation from Tamra. We hear from a former housewife and there’s new information from Vicki regarding Brooks.”

Throughout the 10th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, the main storyline has been the cancer diagnosis of Ayers. According to Ayers, he has been suffering from Stage 3 Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma since late 2013, but according to his co-stars, his stories don’t add up, and physically, he doesn’t appear to have cancer.

Since there has been so much buzz around the topic, Andy Cohen was sure to bring it up with the cast, including Vicki Gunvalson, Heather Dubrow, Tamra Barney, Shannon Beador and Meghan King Edmonds, during the reunion, and he also filmed a special one-on-one interview with Ayers, which will air with the three-part special.

Looking back on filming the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion, via a report by Bravo’s The Daily Dish on October 19, Andy Cohen said he felt this year’s reunion special was more adult than previous years.

“No walk-offs… There were disagreements. There was drama. There was emotion. There was not crazy screaming,” Andy Cohen explained. “It was adult in that way… and I think Vicki even had a couple Xanax beforehand, so she was as calm as ever.”

“I was worried that we weren’t going to get anywhere with the Brooks conversation. But I think we did… It’s interesting to hear his side of everything. There’s nothing that I didn’t address with him, and he has an answer for everything.”

During his chat with Carp, Andy Cohen was asked whether or not he believes Ayers truly has cancer after filming the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion special, but unfortunately, Andy Cohen wouldn’t answer the question. Instead, he agreed to readdress the question after the reunion airs.

While Ayers hasn’t said a thing about his upcoming interview with Andy Cohen, he had previously tweeted allegations against the network, claiming they edited the show to make him look bad. As recently as yesterday, Ayers was tweeting about how fans shouldn’t take what they see on the show to heart.

Following filming on the reunion special, Gunvalson hinted at a possible exit from the show on Instagram, when she told fans, ” What a shocking season finale. Glad it’s over. Time to move on to a bigger and brighter future.”

Also after filming the reunion, Gunvalson shared a photo of herself, her daughter, Briana Culberson, and Andy Cohen, the creator of the Real Housewives franchise.

If Season 10 was Gunvalson’s last, Andy Cohen would surely be disappointed. As fans will recall, Gunvalson was one of the original wives on the first installment of The Real Housewives of Orange County years ago, which makes her the longest running Housewives star of all time.
