Brooks Ayers Cashing In On Split From ‘Real Housewives’ Star Vicki Gunvalson?

Brooks Ayers and Vicki Gunvalson announced their split on Facebook on August 16, and now, nearly two months later, the Real Housewives of Orange County ex-boyfriend is reportedly cashing in. According to an October 2 report by Radar Online, Brooks Ayers is making “thousands” on their breakup with secret interviews and more.

Weeks ago, according to Radar Online’s source, Brooks Ayers filmed a one-on-one special with Andy Cohen. While Brooks Ayers was reportedly not paid to appear on Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, his recently taped interview, which will likely air at the end of the season as part of the reunion special, garnered him a hefty paycheck.

“Not only did they fly [Brooks Ayers] first class to New York and put him up in a very nice hotel, but they also paid him $10,000! The whole thing lasted about four hours.”

The source revealed the network had wanted Brooks Ayers to be a part of the Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 reunion taping, along with his co-stars Gunvalson, Heather Dubrow, Shannon Beador, Tamra Barney, and Meghan King Edmonds, but he allegedly “refused.”

Now, weeks after Brooks Ayers’ interview was filmed, the ladies are headed to Los Angeles to film, and according to the source, Gunvalson “has no idea what she is walking into because Andy and [Brooks Ayers] have refused to tell her what was discussed.”

Gunvalson reportedly feels betrayed by her former boyfriend, Brooks Ayers, who she allegedly believes chose a payday over her. Brooks Ayers is also accused of not revealing any details of his interview to Gunvalson. For the last several weeks, even after their split, Gunvalson has continued to stand up for Brooks Ayers, and the source said she does not want to look foolish for doing so.

As her co-stars continued to accuse Brooks Ayers of faking his cancer diagnosis, Gunvalson has been active in denying any such thing both on The Real Housewives of Orange County and on social media.

In a second report by Radar Online earlier this week, oncologist Kristina Mirabeau-Beale spoke out about the inconsistencies of Brooks Ayers’ cancer documents and noted that CT and PET scans do not diagnose cancer. Mirabeau-Beale also claimed there were several jumbled words and typos, which were unlikely in documents presented to patients, and shot down the possibility of juice cleanses being proper treatment for the illness.

“Typically cancers are treated with surgery, chemotherapy or radiation or some combination of those modalities, not juice cleanses. Patients are generally told to have a balanced diet during therapy. A juice cleanse is not a standard nutritional recommendation during cancer therapy nor is it a recommendation as treatment itself. It could lead to malnutrition.”

During the upcoming episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, following accusations of faking his medical records by Edmonds, Brooks Ayers will be the target of Gunvalson’s daughter, Briana Culberson, who still doesn’t approve of her mother’s then-boyfriend. While chatting with Barney, Culberson reveals there’s nothing Brooks Ayers can do to win her over, and said Gunvalson’s mother felt the same way prior to her passing earlier this year.

For more Brooks Ayers, tune into The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 on Monday nights at 9 p.m. And after this Monday’s new episode, stay with Bravo for Shannon Beador’s Watch What Happens Live special at 11 p.m.
