Ben Affleck And Ex Jennifer Garner Are All Smiles On Dinner Date Amidst Rumors Baby No. 4 Is On The Way
Although Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced their plans to separate back in June, new rumors that Garner may be expecting a baby might halt their plans for a divorce. According to Hollywood Life, an inside source recently revealed that Garner found out that she was “in the early stages of pregnancy” while filming for her upcoming movie in Atlanta.
“Jen was shocked when she found out about the pregnancy,” the insider stated. “Jen wanted a fourth child, but Ben put the kibosh on that last year. He said three was enough.”
Apparently, the possibility of another child has made Garner question whether or not she wants to officially end things with Affleck. “She was still committed to going through with the divorce, at least up until the past few weeks,” the source explained. “Ben is ready to commit totally to Jen and fall in line as a faithful and dedicated family man. But they have a long way to go.”
For his part, the source stated that Ben Affleck is trying to use the pregnancy as a way to win Garner’s trust back and that he is more than happy about having a kid. “Ben is thrilled at the thought of another child. He sees it as an insurance policy that Jen will give a permanent reunion serious thought.”
Meanwhile, the Batman v Superman star and Garner have been spotted together in public on numerous occasions. According to ET, the couple was most recently seen having dinner with each other in Malibu, California. While the two Hollywood stars did not display any outward signs of being back together, they both seemed to enjoy their three-hour outing.
The latest spotting comes after Affleck and Garner were seen at a local farmers market with their children, Violet (9), Seraphina (6), and Samuel (3). Along with perusing through the market, the couple shared a few laughs and looked like any other family out on a weekend trip.
While the public sightings may be a sign that Affleck and Garner are just keeping up appearances as they adjust to their new lives apart, they could also indicate that the pair is trying to work things out for the benefit of their children.
Affleck and Garner decided to file for divorce after it was reported that Affleck was cheating on Garner with their baby-sitter, Christine Ouzounian. Despite these allegations, Affleck has denied the rumors of his unfaithfulness. Neither Ben Affleck nor Jen Garner have commented on the rumors of a new child.
