Jade and Tanner got engaged in the finale, and it’s clear that this duo is still going strong. After a week of keeping busy with appearances and engagements, it seems that Tanner and Jade are embracing a quiet day together. What’s the latest?
Over the past week, Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert have made appearances at events that included a Sporting Kansas City soccer game and a Kansas City Chiefs game — they even dolled up for the Hero Dog Awards in Los Angeles where they presented an award. Come Wednesday, though, the two were ready for some quiet time.
Jade posted a photo on Instagram noting that her beau had a day off from work and they were spending it together. The couple has been spending most of their time together at Tolbert’s home in Olathe, Kansas, and it’s clear that Roper has embraced her Midwest roots once again by settling into Tanner’s place.

This Bachelor in Paradise couple has become a favorite with franchise fans, as is evidenced by the 26,000 “likes” Jade’s post got within just a couple of hours. Jade and Tanner keep fans entertained by posting updates on what they’re doing as well as with a fair number of comedic posts poking fun at one another. This is one couple that seems to focus on having fun rather than embracing any drama.
Though they were ready to spend a casual day together mid-week, this past weekend they walked their first red carpet together. Tanner shared a photo from the event, which will air on the Hallmark Channel on October 30. It seems they were picked to present the award for Arson Hero Dog, and it was a star-studded event that also included stars like Derek Hough and Bindi Irwin from Dancing with the Stars along with Days of Our Lives star Alison Sweeney and NCIS star Pauley Perrette.

Naturally, many Bachelor in Paradise fans are anxious to know whether Tanner and Jade are making wedding plans yet. They’ve previously indicated that they hope to marry within a year, and some think they could end up tying the knot much sooner than that. In fact, host Chris Harrison even said recently via the Huffington Post that he didn’t anticipate a “Janner” wedding next summer on BIP Season 3. However, that’s only because he thinks they’ll tie the knot before the show is ready to film again.
While it’s a bit too soon to know for certain whether this Bachelor in Paradise couple will indeed wed, fans are definitely rooting for Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert. So far, it looks like a future together may well be ahead for these two, and fans are thrilled.
