Taylor Swift Has A Giant Face Made Of Corn, Farm Pays Tribute To Singer [Video]

On her Instagram account, Taylor Swift shared a picture of the 12-acre Summers Farm corn maze with the caption “Lawn Goals.”

Jeff and Teresa Greenwood, owners of the famous Summers Farm corn maze, said that Taylor Swift’s the this year’s subject because her image fits the Summers Farm Harvest Festival’s theme “dare to be different.”

“Taylor Swift emanates a fun and positive image for today’s young people,” said Teresa Greenwood.

Teresa Greenwood also noted Taylor Swift is a good role model to all her fans because she contributes to charitable causes. Swift, Greenwood added, breakes the mold because dares to be different and encourages others to do so as well.

Jeff Greenwood, Teresa’s husband, said that they decided to pay tribute to Taylor Swift this year by designing the maze in the pop star’s likeness because they “felt that she’s a true, real person, and an amazing role model for everybody in how she treats people and how she carries herself.”

Jeff Greenwood also confessed that he has been a long-time Taylor Swift fan because the pop star is a firm believer in confidence.

The original plan was for the corn maze to be carved in the likeness of Taylor Swift’s whole body but they had to reevaluate the design due to space limitations. Designing the whole maze took a while but it only took the Greenwoods one day to cut the maze like the pop star’s face.

“We try to have fun with the design and make it something that people recognize and are connected to,” Greenwood revealed.

The overall design of the corn maze shows Taylor Swift holding a microphone. The theme “DARE TO BE DIFFERENT,” her name, the farm’s name as well as the year were also included in the design.

Visitors of the Summers Farm Harvest Festival can tour the site starting September 26. They can find their way through the 2.5-mile labyrinth in two hours if they can find the Swift-themed clues. The Greenwoods, however, warn that the maze is a “pretty tough one” so a wrong turn could mean getting lost in the 12-acre attraction.

It is not the first time that the Greenwoods have created a manicured corn maze in someone’s likeness. In the past, the famous Maryland farm featured a maze designed in the likeness of politicians Mitt Romney and Barack Obama. They also created a labyrinth that featured the logo of the Baltimore Ravens.
