‘The Vampire Diaries’ Spoilers: New Dangers For Caroline, Bonnie’s Issues, And More Teased

The Vampire Diaries is less than a month away from its return to The CW, and fans are receiving more teases about the upcoming Season 7. Mystic Falls will be faced with new dangers, and those dangers will have an impact on the vampires in the town, as well.

Spoiler TV shared the photos for The Vampire Diaries Season 7 premiere, titled “Day One of Twenty-Two Thousand, Give or Take,” on Thursday, and the photos do reveal some clues for the season premiere.

Caroline will come face to face with the new vampire witches in town, and her meeting with them will not go well. One of the new photos shows Caroline under one witch’s painful spell. The photos also give fans a true look at the new villains for Season 7. Lily and her family will turn the town of Mystic Falls upside down with their arrival.

The latest trailer for The Vampire Diaries Season 7 released by The CW on Friday confirms the trouble Caroline will have during the premiere.

The trailer also reveals more about upcoming season and the state of Mystic Falls. After Lily’s “family” arrived in Mystic Falls at the end of Season 6, Stefan and Damon decided to make a deal with their mother.

The trailer shows that the brothers gave the town of Mystic Falls to their mother and her clan, and they plan to keep the humans out of town. Previous Vampire Diaries spoilers shared by the Inquisitr revealed that “[Lily] is using Mystic Falls as a training ground for how to teach her children how to blend. Unfortunately, they don’t like being told what to do.”

This would explain the state of the town shown in the final scene of The Vampire Diaries Season 6 finale. The town was in ruins as Damon stood above and watched.

As for Bonnie, she will have her own issues next season. She is alive, and this means her best friend is asleep. Kai connected the two friends with his spell. Bonnie will have some feelings about this situation, according to Entertainment Weekly. The news outlet shared the latest from Julie Plec on Friday.

“She has survivor’s remorse, but she doesn’t want to be punished for it, either, so she’s trying to take a stand against anybody that would make her feel bad that she survived.”

Bonnie will spend a lot of time during The Vampire Diaries Season 7 watching over Damon and Alaric. The best friends will deal with their losses together, and Bonnie will play chaperone.

Fans will need to tune in to find out how the town of Mystic Falls deals with Lily and her “family” taking over. The Vampire Diaries Season 7 will premiere on October 8.
