‘Fear The Walking Dead’ Episode 3 Recap Gets Leaked Online [Spoiler]

It seems someone got a little excited about Episode 3 (entitled “The Dog”) of AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead and then posted their review of it before the episode had actually screened. While the media outlet involved removed the article as soon as the error was noted, some people still got to read the recap and take notes on everything that will happen in Episode 3. If you want the alleged spoilers on this episode, then just keep reading.

WARNING: This article contains potential spoilers from an episode of AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead that is yet to screen. If you do not want spoilers, please step away now.

Episode 3 of Fear The Walking Dead was on hiatus this week thanks to the Labor Day weekend, but someone forgot to mention that to the Guardian who posted their review of the episode after its usual air time on Sunday. While the error was quickly noted and the recap removed, Fansided’s Undead Walking still managed to get a look at it before it was removed. As they noted, the reviewer is not a big fan of the series so far, and his review called “many of the main characters ‘stupid’ and showing a severe displeasure for the second episode in season one.” But that aside, let’s have a look at what else they managed to find out about Episode 3 of Fear The Walking Dead.

Expect rioting in Episode 3 of Fear The Walking Dead. In particular, expect battles between the living and the dead. In fact, there appears to be general apocalyptic mayhem throughout the episode, including disruptions to power supplies, general looting, and the officials that Madison (played by Kim Dickens) once told Tobias (Lincoln A. Castellanos) to trust implicitly telling everyone to lock themselves in their houses.

There are plenty of instances where Travis’ (Cliff Curtis) two families [of which Madison and Liza (Elizabeth Rodriguez) seem to be buddies already] get up close and personal with zombies. Whether it be watching zombies attack dogs, warning the neighbors about the infected, or actually killing them — as Daniel Salazar does with a head shot — there appears to be a lot of learning going on in this episode in relation to the newly infected and what they are capable of. Expect weapons training for the characters in this episode also.

As the Inquisitr had noted earlier in an article, it appears Griselda Salazar (Patricia Reyes Spíndola) is definitely injured in Episode 3 of Fear The Walking Dead. It is still unclear yet whether she is infected or if the injury was sustained as a result of escaping their barber shop, although Christian Post suggests Griselda was injured by falling scaffolding and not by a bite.

Nick (Frank Dillane) appears to spend a decent amount of time in this episode trying to pinch pills. However, that might change after a child “with a creepy doll” questions him.

Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie) gets punched and this entertained the reviewer from the Guardian to no end. However, it is unclear who punched him.

As Undead Walking also points out, this is the first time an episode recap has been leaked for Fear The Walking Dead. However, its companion series, The Walking Dead, has had several recaps printed earlier than its screen time. As the Inquisitr also pointed out in a previous article, AMC has been known to accidentally leak spoilers in the past in relation to this franchise.

Fear The Walking Dead returns to AMC with Episode 3 (“The Dog”) on Sunday, September 13, 2015.
