Four People Face Charges At Luke Bryan Concert

Luke Bryan concerts are usually defined by a good show, great music, and fun times. Unfortunately for four concert-goers and a few security guards, one particular Luke Bryan concert didn’t turn out like it should have.

The Buffalo News reports that the show, that took place on September 3 at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in New York, ended badly for four people who were arrested by Genesee County Sherriff’s deputies.

Daniel J. Zybezynski, 22, and Rita H. Buettner, 59, were both charged with harassment after punching a security guard, or in the former’s case, two security guards. Richard A. Anzalone Jr., 26, was charged with trespassing and Kapry A. Packard, 25, was charged with unlawful dealing with a child.

This isn’t usually how it goes for the people at Luke Bryan concerts, though. Luke is a homegrown Georgia boy and, true to his roots, knows how to turn on that Southern charm that makes anyone at his concerts feel at home. This became literal for Bryan at a recent VIP show when he recognized an 88-year-old woman in the audience as his neighbor, Bernice Williams. Luke said that they lived right next to each other.

“Like, my dogs ate her cats’ food.”

Anyone who has gone to Luke’s concerts won’t deny that the man knows how to put on a show. Not only is Bryan very entertaining, but his music is some of the hottest in the country at the moment. His album is still topping Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart, as reported by the Inquisitr.

Luke was recognized on September 1 by his peers in country music for his musical achievements. At the 9th Annual ACM Honors, an award ceremony held at the historic Ryman Auditorium, Bryan received the Gene Weed Special Achievement Award. According to ACM Country, this award was given to Luke for “unprecedented, unique and outstanding individual achievement in country music.” This is very special for Bryan because these awards are only given when the ACM Board of Directors feel there is someone who deserves it.

That’s not the only thing that Bryan received at the award show, though. As reported by CBS News, country music legend, Loretta Lynn, gave Bryan a kiss and he seemed pretty thrilled about that, as well.

“I got a kiss from Loretta, so I am still pretty excited about that.”

According to ACM Country, Luke set the record with six consecutive number one singles from his album Crash My Party. He’s also begun to perform internationally and in 2014, Bryan played for 1.7 million fans. To commemorate his success, an exhibit of Luke and his career will be on display this summer at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
