Jessica Alba Gets Creepy Futuristic Anti-Aging Facial Treatment And A Lawsuit

Many media outlets have been reporting on just how good Jessica Alba is looking these days, and this might be one of the many reasons why. Alba recently visited a beautician to get a last-minute anti-aging mask, but it might not look exactly like you would imagine and is far more reminiscent of a horror movie like Scream.

Jessica, 34, then headed to Instagram to show the world just how bizarre the beauty treatment is, and it actually looks more like something from a futuristic science fiction movie than anything else, with the mask framing her head in a shocking pink light. Beam me up, Scotty!

Apparently, the LightStim anti-aging treatment was part of an emergency session with esthetician Shani Darden just before heading to work for the day.

The treatment is costly but very beneficial, and other celebrity clients love the anti-aging masks, including model Chrissy Teigen and Mysteries of Laura and Will and Grace star Debra Messing, who can be seen enjoying a similar treatment below.

In Messing’s case, this was not just a relaxing process, however, as she was apparently learning lines all the while.

According to ET Online, when she is not having a relaxing facial mask, Jessica Alba is busy running her business, The Honest Company, an all-natural product line, and recently expressed frustration that she is being compared to other actresses who have become business owners.

“What I think is it’s unfair is to lump actresses together.

“People aren’t lumping Justin Timberlake and Ashton Kutcher together. They do other businesses.

“I think it’s expected that when you get success in one area, you’re supposed to evolve and try to do something else — especially in business, and especially if you’re a man.”

According to People, her business frustrations could be a little more than that, as Alba has been hit with a lawsuit, which claims the company “deceptively and misleadingly” labels and markets products as natural.

A consumer named Jonathan D. Rubin has claimed that a number of the products actually contain “unnatural” and “synthetic” ingredients. The suit also says that the Honest Sunscreen sold by Alba’s company is “ineffective.”

Users of the sunscreen have also recently taken to Twitter, warning people against it with images of skin burned a similar shade to the pink surrounding Jessica Alba’s futuristic facial mask.

The Honest Company is apparently worth some $1.7 billion, and Rubin is seeking $5 million in damages from Alba’s business. Apparently Jessica herself is worth a hefty $340 million, so maybe it won’t hurt too much.
