WWE News: Wrestling Legend Slams ‘Tough Enough’ Contestant For ‘Slut-Shaming’ Winner

A WWE Hall of Famer and wrestling legend is speaking out on social media and once again, he really isn’t happy. Mick Foley hopped on Facebook after the Tough Enough finale on Tuesday night and slammed contestant Amanda for slut-shaming eventual winner Sara Lee and for bullying.

Foley wrote a very long post on his Facebook page last night, and he spoke about not commenting on Tough Enough in weeks. It appeared he had no intention of commenting anymore on the show, but he had to say something.

“Then I heard it – Amanda publicly ‘exposing’ rumors of Sara Lee’s sex life, in an an attempt to sway voters against her. My immediate thought: she just slut-shamed Sara Lee on national television” – and it struck me as a hateful, petty, vindictive thing to do. Alas, for Amanda, the tactic seemed to backfire, and the bikini model from Yorktown Heights lost in a nearly 2-1 landslide, despite having advantages in almost every category that would seem to matter – beauty, body, athleticism, a save from The Miz, and her self-professed ‘it’ factor.”

Foley is speaking about the WWE Network’s post-show for Tough Enough which aired last week. Sara Lee and Amanda had a bit of a confrontation on the show itself, and on the post-show, Amanda said she was just playing a role.

As Wrestling Inc. reported, Amanda said she was nothing like the role she plays on the show and the same goes for Sara Lee.

“The most annoying thing about Sara is that she plays the role of the girl-next-door, and honestly, she’s not the girl-next-door.”

Amanda said she gets a rep because of the way she looks, and then proceeded to call Sara Lee a “ring rat.” The judges were taken aback and shocked by Amanda’s accusations, which were quickly denied by Sara Lee who said she was merely trying to “plant seeds of doubt in my head.”

Quite often, the runner-up competitors in Tough Enough end up being offered a contract by WWE, and Mick Foley made mention of that. He believes that Amanda will be offered one, but that she needs to be given a talk about bullying and “slut-shaming.”

WWE has had a huge anti-bullying campaign going on for years now, and they won’t tolerate the actions and words of Amanda on Tough Enough. It appears as if Mick Foley won’t either, and that was why he took to social media to express his anger.
